Evoroth had still been walking around Skara the entire day concerned with the late shipment of resources from Cove.

"Perhaps it is time to see whats keeping them, perhaps another orc invasion."

He gathered his gear and some spell components, to hsten his journey he decided simply to recall into a spot safe within the city walls where he could hide himself in case they were in trouble.

Upon arriving he was amazed at what he found. Almost detected by a band of orcs walking by he had to be quick with his invisibility spell. Perhaps he had indeed gotten himself into a sticky situation.

"Orcs again, well its better then I'd hoped, at least i can send fliers to all cities and masses of warriors will flock for the fame. "

As he began to recall out he noticed a figure giving orders near the docks, "Who is that" he questioned himself. Not wanting to get noticed he didnt care much for getting closer, but the distance wa to great for even his elven eyes to get a good glimpse as to the figure.
He quickly teleported to the roof of a nearby building to further survey the situation. And there it was revealed plain as could be. the Order banners were flapping highly upon one of the wagons camped near the front apparently where some supplies were brought in to aid in the takeover. Untilizing nearby orc forces they had taken the entire city hostage, but far less OES occupation then would be expected, surely the orcs wouldnt be able to pose much of a threat to a militia coming to retake the city.

What has kept these people from rising up aginst these orc forces, what evil has been instilled in them??

Evoroth recalled out immediately and hoped he hadnt been spotted on his exit.
Once back in Skara he debated whether to inform anyone, or rather go back and try to see what all lies within the city as opposition. No if the Skullheads had more numbers nearby he couldnt take n army alone he thought... or could he??
He wrestled with himself as to whether he wanted to prove his new magery prowess or do the right thing and arrange a force to retake the city.
But what would OES want with Cove, what has it to offer them, an outpost for there orc forces?

He began writing letters to be sent by Pigeons to all cities.

To all those who reside under the banner of the Order or the Ebon Skulls.
Please be informed that your operation has been discovered in Cove. Im sure many will have found this letter and may investigate for themselves, but tis not my intent. I advise you to retreat from the city limits at once and I will be returning to check its status later today. If the forces remain and the city inhabitants arent freed, I suggest you get all the forces you can to come there. I will be there.. alone, and we'll settle what we started long ago. Your power and hunger for territories end now.

After reading the letter received by a pigeon, he chuckled half-heartedly. So, this....elf...seems he can take Cove from me? I am sure that this Elf may be high and mighty, but I am a Harrower. Oblivion guides my sword. This one elf is petty.

Illadar quickly gathered parchment and a pen and began a letter.

Grettings, Evoroth.

I am Viceroy Gilthazul of Cove. I take it you had a little snoop around my city and my doings around the city. Tis a shame you have to snoop around. Why would one man dare to challenge the entire forces of the Order? Do you not realize that this day and age is falling to a new Age of Shadows. Cove is mine for the Order. If it is a battle you wish, then I would gladly fight you at the Ball in which the Order is having. There is a gladiator tournament at the Umbra Arena. I would gladly have a battle with you there. Unless....you feel cowardly? Either way, Cove will not be given up lightly.

Illadar Gilthazul
Viceroy of Cove

Evoroth's pigeons landed with a message from Illadar.
"Hmm, so the skullhead will take my challenge."
Quick and eager to engage in battle, and anxious to see how good of a Magi he has evolved into Evoroth wrote his response to Illadar.

My Fellow servant of darkness,

I will gladly accept your invitation, however in the umbra arena? I am no humn that will be easily swindled into walking into an ambush. Besides I have commited a few crimes over the last few days which have commited me to the realms of fellucca. You can either wait until my crimes are forgiven and i can walk freely amongst all realms once again, or we can meet, anywhere youd like within this dark realm and we can discuss your surrender of the city, and perhaps by wasting my time to dispose of you we an discuss repairations and money to be paid for the armor i may get damaged by you insignificant one.

I await your response.

Evoroth,

Tell me, elf, how is it you came to Cove to investigate, but you are confined to the Felluca realm? The Cove in Felluca is quite the deadly place and I will not travel to that area. It is a cursed place and haunted. And no, I speak nothing of an ambush. The Ball for the New Master for the Order of the Ebon Skull will take place this eve at the Umbra Arena at 9 in the evening of the eastern sun. Perhaps you could pull a little trick the same way you did with your 'investigations' and come to the Ball. If not, it would be a shame for me to have to hunt you down. I grow tired of my victims running. It would be much better if they stood still.

Decide on how you wish to battle.

Illadar Gilthazul
Viceroy of Cove

Twas a mere mistake, last night upon returning to Skara brae there happened to be a few of the murderer sort attempting to kidnap someone from the town limits, amongst them was an innocent person, but was slaughtered just the same, by accident i assure. Not that i need to justify myself to skullhead. I assure you the time of my confinement will be ending shortly but i fear not in time for your ball this eve, perhaps could i propose a meeting on the old Legion island. untraveled it is now since =L=disbanded and im sure even the OES arent to cowardice to go to an abandoned realm. Considering i primarily reside in felucca i assure you it is not that dangerous, ill meet you if you request and escort and protect you if you fear it that much. Neverthless your occupation of Cove will be withdrawn within the next 24 hours.

Evoroth,

Hello elf. I am writing to you, intervening on Illadar's behalf. Forgive my student, he is overzealous, but I do hope you two can work your problem out. After speaking with Illadar, catching wind of your "messages" and careful consideration, I need to ask you to reconsider. If you will take into account the work I, Bailos, have done in Sanctus I think you will see what we are *really* after. Clearly the majority of the universe is not fit to deal with and govern itself. I personally have strived for decades to bring order and reason and structure wherever I go. Even to something such as the Order.

I have seen the overtones which you use in your letter to my subjugate, Illadar, and they are filled with blind hate and bias. You do not know this Order, nor should you, nor should you need to anytime soon. We have respectable intentions with our occupation of Cove. May I humbly suggest you return your nose to your own business. If these shipments of wood to Skara Brae must resume, I will see to it they get back on track. My word is my bond.

Cheerio,
Bailos

Lord Bailos,
I address this letter to you with the deepest respect for your position, however I disagree with the occupation completely. How many towns do you wish to occupy? Sanctus was another issue, an issue many of us didnt adress the night of the last Court of Light meeting but an issue that im sure many will have a problem with.

I admit i am hastey to engage your disciple in battle, if Cove was taken over without consent from you, then he should be punished, however it is the intentions of the Order to keep occupation of Cove, then I announce my public challenge of you all. If your intentions of Cove are truly noble, then release all of the inhabitants immediately, I will not see human kind whether i like them or not, be put in bondage and slavery for your ideals. Release the inhabitants, so that I can give them refuge in Skara, and in return, I will mind my business with the operation unless it puts anyone innocent to harm or interferes with my own projects.

I am quick for engagement of battle, I apologize, if your disciple still desires the challenge then I am game. I however have been searching for something, caravans of teams are being dispatched from skara to find something important to the Elven race. I expect in return for this that they will be unharmed, and any raids by orc kind or any other I will immediately attribute to OES so be warned.

I hope you are successful with your projects in Sanctus and I hope you have the best intentions as I have for what im working on.

I await your response.
