At the bottom of the map is the following inscription:

The red line outlines the extent of Orc control to the north of their village. It continues unbroken to Skara Brae to the south. Please know: this does not mean they may be freely attacked beyond the boundary, or that their movement and activities are entirely limited within this location.

Humans and elves who do not wish to live under dominion of the Orcs, or any shopkeepers, healers, merchants, etc., who are unwilling to accept this compromise are given one week from the placement of this notice to relocate. After that time, and if they do not leave, it will be understood that they have given tacit agreement to become citizens of Yew under its new government and will obey its laws.

Briefly scanning the map, Ceinwyn shrugged to herself. Yew. It was always Yew.

Why could it not be Trinsic for once? Oh, how she detested Trinsic! You would think that with all the raids through the years that the damned town would finally have fallen to SOMEONE.

Cursing, she decided that if there was a war (though she wondered why anyone fought for that miserable town) she might join in... against the much hated humans and elves.

Lucius glared at the poster in Skara Brae. Why always Yew? He shrugged. He scribbled a quick note on a parchment, reading the poster carefully as he did so. When he was finished, he nailed the parchment just underneath the one already placed.

His new position was going to be fun.

The red line outlines the extend of Orc control. It denotes the area the Orcs have a right to live. Any area beyond this is outside orcish jurisdiction.

Orcs who do not wish to live under the domination of Humans and Elves, or any raiders, "runt bashers," or scouts who are unwilling to accept
this compromise are given one week from the placement of this amendment to relocate. After that time, and if they do not return to the area this mad man has so abruptly claimed for them, it will be understood that they have given agreement to become exiles of Yew and are free game if they choose to try to claim any more land otherwise.

That being said, there is in fact a such thing as diplomacy.

The restless Ronin was moving from town to town when he noticed the map. He thought to himself, "Well, and there must be war about. Now I might be able to show my worth"
