This week brings me to the city of Magincia, Home of the Hand of Humanis. While staying in this beautiful city, I had the pleasure to interview Lord Isk, Magnate of Magincia.

Whats it like in Magincia for those who don't live here?

Magincia is a quiet place, A pleasant retreat from the chaotic world.

What is your role in Magincia?

After Mayor Hector set the groundwork for how Magincia was to be run, there has been not much need to take a strong administrative role in how the city works. Now its the entire membership of Humanis that runs the city. I am just a guide, pushing the system in the right direction if it falters. In essence, we have no mayor or kings here. The Humanis party does the work as a collective.

What relations do you have with Sosaria townwise?

Magincia has started to build trade relations with Yew. Aside from that, we in good standing with the cities run by loyalist powers.

And what of Luna and Umbra, do they fit in this standing?

Those are far out of the way places run by people I distrust. I see no benefit from being attached to either of those cities. It would be a good day in Sosaria if they destroyed each other. You can go onto your next question.

I recently had the pleasure to interview Kotare. You were part of the discussion. What is your opinion of him and of Yew in General?

I have to give credit where it is due. Kotare is a gifted leader. He can be trusted and is always approachable. however, I don't much like his wife. I think she is trying to turn him against me. But aside from that, I find that Yew is a backwards place. There is a belief here in Magincia that the people of Yew are simple and that they chew on Straw. Not as sophisticated as Magincians. Though that is in many ways, a result of Magincia's view of Yew as the Sticks' of Sosaria... might soon change.

On to the Regency, Your status as a loyalist makes you powerful within their ranks. How do you feel about the Regent and the Regency as a whole?

I think that the Regency is important historically. It is my belief also that the human philosophe will rise from the regency to rule the lands. But the current Regent is not the Philosophe. The Regency itself, while formidable, and active in the lands, is still not used to its fullest potential. I think that the non-humans, including the wife of the current regent are to blame for this.

What are your short term goals for the future?

A good leader does not show all his cards. But I'll just say that strengthening current ties and returning to the older more aggressive ways of the past seem like the most suitable ways to achieve success and respect.

Would you like to make a statement to all the people of Sosaria who might read this interview?

Of Course, I say to the people of Sosaria that the decline of Culture that we have witnessed over the past couple of months which includes the laziness of society and the inability of many to act is the sole result of an inability on behalf of world leaders to create and strive for goals. The Non-humans, especially the elves have a goal. While we remain still and complacent going to new taverns and holding joust They plot behind our backs to cause the end of us all. I say with all confidence that Molly is the leader of this elven conspiracy to destroy human culture. Thank you, that is the extent of my rant.

Thank you Isk for your time and generosity.

In short, this reporter found Isk's cander very forth coming and overall he was very polite. It was a pleasure to interview him in his home city. next week, My inquisitive mind will direct me to a new town and a new personality. Maybe it will be yours. Until next week, I'm signing off.
