Dearest Molly,
As I said last eventide, simply allowing the Minstrels to perform was payment enough for myself.
However, upon returning to the Garden, I realized that Rryn needed a new dress, and Mallory wanted some gold rolling pins, and Cat wanted more cookies and wine, and Stephani just wanted to be left alone in the corner, and Scribble wanted a new ... (scratches through man) Perhaps you get my point.
My troupe is growing by the week, and need to be properly fed and clothed. With this in mind, I have thus prepared an itemized bill for our services rendered.
Bill of Services
For services rendered unto Molly and the House of Gauntlet expressly for the Ball on January 2.
$25,000 gold
This incorporates our usual nominal appearance fee. We waived any additional fees for bouncers or door greeters.
We do however require additional funds for the following:
1. Purchasing of drinks:
$10,000 gold (I happen to be a tall thirsty man)
2. Dealing with known sticks in the mud who drain the fun out of any party:
$5,000 gold ... Unity
$5,000 gold ... Sue Michelle
$5,000 gold ... Ithene the Cat for running out while a Minstrel tried to sing a song for him
3. Costume expenses:
$20,000 gold
4. Travel expenses:
$10,000 gold
5. Staging and Choreography
$5,000 gold
6. Imported beard wax
$5,000 gold
7. Copyright barristers on call
$5,000 gold
8. Nominal fee for untendered services with Mr. Willow (I did not get to butt heads with him)
$2,500 gold
9. One stripper by the name of Cherry DeLite
$2,500 gold (she came freely but Papa Poet's poppets need new clothes and shoes (Even if Ms. DeLite does not feed them.))
10. My bail money and services of a bondsman
$5,000 gold
[fine print]
All moneys collected will be dispersed to the Garden Orphan fund. _________________ "When he spoke, what tender words he used! So softly, that like flakes of feathered snow, They melted as they fell." - John Dryden |

Raises a brow as she reads the bill and chuckles as she reads the comments. Speaking aloud
Still a pirate!
Giggles and writes out an order to the treasury for the amount requested and an order for the squire to deliver it the following day. She attaches a note to a very dusty bottle of scotch to be delivered with the gold.
"For the leader of the pack."
She sits back and chuckles laying her pen down and dismissing the messenger. _________________ Grand Duchess Molly Kaldhel
