Cecil stood on the flat, tile roof of his house, wearing nothing but his pants, his belt with his leather reagents pouch and a bronze buckler. Across from him were three Magincian prisoners holding basic weaponry and wearing old armor, held only by a magical paralysis which Cecil had placed upon them. With a snap of his fingers, Cecil loosed the magical paralysis that was holding them in place and they ran at him in a rage.

Cecil reached into his reagent pouch and pulled out the ingredients he would need for his first set of spells, existing for the single purpose of working Cecil's will. The first prisoner, a half elven man with a dagger, came at Cecil with all of his might. Cecil began chanting and performing a few quick gestures, moving his feet to dodge the blows of the man assailing him. "Vas Ort Flam..." the spell was complete...

Cecil crushed a bit of nightshade and black pearl in his right hand, tossing the dust directly in front of him and screaming the words "CORP POR." A bright burst of energy distorted the air around it and streaked towards the man, hitting him right when a large explosion sounded and a series of painful flashes destroyed the demihuman and ripped and scorched his flesh. "Fried," Cecil said with confidence.

The second prisoner was an orcish warrior in full orcish battle garb with a large mace. As soon as the orc's bond was loosed, he lunged at Cecil with his mace. Cecil didn't even try to dodge, he simply lifted his small shield to block the blow and punched the orc's arm in such a way that it dropped its weapon.

With the orc disarmed, Cecil chanted and unleashed a spell that called a large collumn of fire from the sky, charring the orc's flesh. Being a hardy warrior specimin, the spell didn't kill the orc. After picking its weapon back up, it came at Cecil again; whom using some nightshade, caused the orc to become extremely ill.

The orc kept trying to hit Cecil and failed. The battle went on for a good fifteen minutes until Cecil became bored with the orc and finished it off with a battery of spells. "Flashfried," Cecil said with a smirk, while the air surrounding the orc began to explode and another pillar of fire came from the sky.

Without even stopping to rest, Cecil freed the final prisoner. She was an elven woman equipped only with a dagger. She put it away in her belt and began to chant in a manner similar to Cecil. Cecil grinned and began chanting his own incantations. They dueled for what seemed like days, lost in the peculiar time distortion that tends to come about when a significant amount of ether is tapped within a small area of space. After finally getting the upper hand, Cecil unleashed his final assault on the woman and she swooned, thereafter he summoned a few of his household guards to take her to his chambers.

Cecil was going to have a bit of fun tonight, within the law or not...
