Mave stood on the roof of Mercenary Keep and looked out over Dark Cove. He just could not seem to shake the feeling that something was different, that there had been some big changes since his absence. Patting Belegohtar's flank as he walked past him, Mave went back downstairs into his chambers.

Reaching under his cloak, Mave pulled out his Dark Order badge and placed it in a secret compartment in his chambers.

"There are things I must look to and try to understand before I decide on my current path..." he said softly to himself.

"Perhaps I need to ask around and see what the Order has been up to in my absence and what others have been doing as well"

With that thought, Mave strapped on his sword and mentally called to Belegohtar as he walked out the door to the keep.

"It is time that we at least let the monsters know that we are back, eh old friend" he said as he smiled, lept onto Belegohtar's back, and they rode off to stretch their limbs.
