Dymm threw his dagger at the dartboard again. That was the third – time to get up to retrieve them again. He didn’t feel like it, though. The cut in his side was starting to pain him again but the real pain was coming from the incredible boredom. Ever since Locke had helped him home, he’d had to stay there, holed up in his house. He had finished all the paperwork he needed to but that didn’t take up nearly the time he had hoped it would. He had played countless games of darts and even after he was able to hit the bull’s eye each time, it seemed like no time had passed at all.

The injury to his side didn’t stop him from wanting to get back out there and finish some contracts, but he had to lay low for now. He had gotten the kill but he had also fallen. Thank goodness Locke was there, or it really would’ve been a mess. He looked out the window longingly but soon after returned to his desk. Three cards still remained: the King of Clubs, the Jack of Hearts and a new one… the Jack of Clubs.
