Beowulf entered the Garden, physically exhausted. He made his way to the roof to grab a drink of ale. He saw Tatiana and Scribble talking, Tati ran over and wrapped her arms around him. Something didnt feel right he thought, something was off.

"Hi Beowulf" Tati said smiling

"Wha's going on here?" Beowulf asked, hoping that perhaps someone could "enlighten" him.

"Ivaes ok now."

"Ok how? Wha' happened?"

Tatiana tugged him over to a stool and sat. To the side, Scribble carfully placed a blood stained dagger away in her pack. Tatiana smiled at him and began to explain what happened.

"That awful man me Darrien tried to hurt Ivae again. Naz said something wasn't right about her, she was fighting deamons or something." Tati informed him.

Chuckleing Beowulf corrected her, "She was fighting deamons in her mind dear. Darrien was using this to contr--" His voice trailed off for a moment, his head began to shreak in pain. Thoughts, memorys it all came rushing back now, all at once.

Ivae and Naz came to the roof, Naz took off to get Mirima and Ivae placed her eyes at Beowulf. Memorys of Ivae tied onto the pillars at The Black Mass, her being tortured. Locking eyes with Beowulf she began to remember it to.

Beowulf clenched his fist tightly and looked to the ground. "It was my fault.."

Ivae looked at him, almost in a pleading way. " It was not your fault, you wearnt able to. He wouldn't let you, please Beowulf don't blame yourself."

Beowulf shook his head and went down stairs. Walking over to one of the couchs he let his body collapse onto it. He leaned back and breathed in deeply, something was wrong here he thought. At that moment a cold chill shot through his body, looking infront of him he saw a mist.

" Tell Ivae thank you." the mist began to speak.

"Thank you for wha'?"

"Thank you for killing me, making me stronger."

"Darrien, yer done now and you arn't coming back"

"Oh I will be back, stronger perhaps. She has only done me a favour."

At that moment Tati came down to find Beowulf, looking over she saw him standing, talking to himself. He stood, understanding what had happened. He knew Darrien was to good to just die, he was to smart of an appoinent.

Returning to the roof Beowulf had to turn around and go down another floor. Ivae, holding the baby, had asked to speak with him.

"Please don't blame yourself." She began to plead.

"Why not? I was there wasn't I? You could have been killed, and they could have went for Mirima."

"But I was killed, and you couldn't help. Darrien had control over you, there was nothing you could do. You couldn't have fought all of them."

"I could have, and would have. It isn't entirely my fault, but I could have done something."

Beowulf spun on his heel and left the garden. He was confused, frustrated, angry and most of all sadend inside. He remembered everything, seeing Isk and Savahanna at The Black Mass, Ivae being tortured, him not beating Darrien down when he should have.

He returned to his home and found his way to the chair behind his desk. Shortly after his arrival Tatiana had found him and came up to talk to him. Kneeling down beside him she placed her head on his lap and tried to comfort him. There was nothing that could change his mind though. Ivae was hurt, he should have helped some how. Darrien was to wise to be simply killed, he was up to something, he had to be.
