As many still wonder of the sudden peace, One can only speculate as to the reasons. Still no responses from either the Yew Liberation Front nor those of the BlackWind Knights. No messages as to the reasons, no clarifications as to why the fighting has stoped. Some would guess that they wait for the orcs to attack, others would assume they are even allied to them. But the fact remains, the responses from either force has only been the sounds of the wind. No reports come in of any fighting, leaving many of the guards curious. Some have even more twisted ideas and some even wonder if they were fighting on the right side.

Hope was fragile for those who believed. And it was shattered. Believing in it has proven one thing however. The ones who did believe rose up to defend it, the people of Yew, and the glory of an idea known as a free Yew. Do not rejoice in victory over their defeat. For they did not surrender. They only saw that the innocent would suffer in the long run. In time people will adjust. But they will know that they could have made a difference. They could have earned their freedoms. They could have cried out louder saying we will not accept this form of rule. There are many things they could have done. But fear kept them silent, or it was fear that turned the deaf ear upon the cries of its people. You have not won anything this day guardians of yew. Victory cost you the most important thing of all. The hope that was shattered was the heart and spirit of Yew. Sleep well this night. It will be starless.
