Standing at the Minoc bank was Dybbuk hidden in the shadows of the moon-lit night. He stood next to a wall full of wanted posters and bountys for the heads of the lands most hate criminals and murderers. Dybbuks stared at his name, near the top.

He laid on his cold floor staring out the window at the newly rising morning sun thinking not about being a criminal... but about a girl. He didnt understand the feelings he felt for her, but he knew that he would'nt be in the situation he was in if it wasnt for her. The plans where ready weeks ago for him to leave- Weeks ago when he hadnt been reported as a murderer. Just as his eyes closed and he drifted off to sleep he heard the faint sound of footsteps outside his house, and then voices speaking in a whisper. Dybbuks eyes slowly opened as he got up and grabbed his kryss, before stealthing down to see what there busniess here was. Dybbuk stood a few yards away from them, listening as they spoke of there plan to kill him and who, out of the three men, would go in first. Dybbuk held the hilt of his kryss softly as he licked his lips and thought to himself how bad of an idea it was not returning to Ocllo when all was ready. As one of the men began to speak of what he would be doing with his share of the reward gold, Dybbuk steped out from behind the wall and threw his kryss into the right-most mans neck. Before that man could hit the ground with a kryss lodged halfway into him, Dybbuk had pulled out two poisoned daggers and was only a footstep away from the other two men. Before they had a chance to blink a dagger went into one of the mans eyes and the other into the last mans chest. Dybbuk stood breathing lightly as he looked out into the endless sea gathering his thoughts. He let his bare feet sink into the blood soaked ground as he remember how good a feeling it was and how much he lived for it before finally disaprearing in the shadows...

Sir, I understand you will not be seeing Alana again, is this so?

Yes Abica, I have ended it- she deserved much more than a life I could give her..

A life of crime, Mr. Dybbuk?

Why yes Abica... A life of crime indeed... Go to Ocllo and await my arival- There maybe be just a few more things I will need to take care of before I leave...

With a smile, Dybbuk read over the papers needed for his boat ride from Mionc shores to Ocllo. In just four days from now he would be leaving this place behind and finally getting back to the life he belonged in. He looked out the window of his Legion Isle house staring in the direction of Ocllo thinking about his life in this world now. For the first time everything made sence- The pieces to all his plans where falling into place, and the wheels of his future where in motion. He had failed in his attempt to lead a better life than his family before him, but he knew now that was not his path. He had left Alana before he got her hurt, and before his seventeen year old emotions got in the way of leaving. Everything was in place now...
He would stay for one more thing; the Legion tournement. It mattered not to him how he did, but he was after all a killer, and he would not pass up once last chance to soak his feet in the blood of another person without being hailed a murderer.
Only four days left Dybbuk thought to himself looking out over the sea... only four days...

He could'nt do it.
He could'nt leave. His feelings for Alana had crossed the point of no return a long time ago and now he was helpless to resist. Dybbuk stood in his house punching the brick wall over and over again till he lost all feeling his is blood drenched knuckles. He could'nt be without her any longer, let alone leave this place and her behind forever. When this struck Dybbuk as a reality he recalled to Skara Brea and ran, as fast as humanly possiable, to the house where Alana was staying just outside of the farms. When he came in sight of her house, he quickly disappeard into the shadows to catch his breath and figure out what the hell he was doing back here. When he stealthed into the stables he saw her. If there ever was such a thing possiable as an epiphany, the way he looked at her now was one in its purest form. She was an angel, and everything around her seemed to vanish as if time and reality itself had been discarded. He simpley smiled walking over to her, putting his arms around her waist and kissing her neck. She seemed to freeze in fear until he whispered her name in her ear. Turning around, she hugged him close as she tried to fight back her tears. "Alana I just could'nt leave you", Dybbuk said, staring into her tear filled eyes. "I..I love you Alana... I cant leave you behind". When she heard this the dam of tears being held back in her eyes broke, letting drop after drop roll off her cheek. "You.. do?", she asked him, still crying. Dybbuk nodded slowly, as he leaned in closer to her. He kissed her lips then, with more passion and meaning then she had ever been kissed before. He backed away slowly, opening his eyes and looking into hers, still dropping tears one after another. His eyes showed no fear, no shyness or curiousity; they held nothing. Her stare lowerd with his, down her neck and chest to her stomach. Their eyes stopped at Dybbuks hand holding a kryss pushed all the way into her. He looked back up into her eyes filled with fear and pulled it out, causing her to collpase to the ground. Dybbuk let his bare feat soak into her blood before he finally stealthed away into the shadows and back to Minoc- he had a boat to catch.

Dybbuk walked through the forest slowly, thinking about what had happened and where this would take him. He knew he could'nt leave someone he loved- he was human after all and was not very good at dealing with his feelings. So he did the only thing he could of done...
Removed the one he loved.

This is what he had been waiting for... Going back to Ocllo... It had only been Five hours at sea now on the old pirate merchant vessel, but he could almost picture the Ocllo harbor in his mind now as if he was there. He paced on the deck of the ship from one end to another in thought. He had manged to leave a day early- That was good because he didnt know if he could stand another day just waiting around in Minoc. It seemed as if everything had worked out as planned.
Later that day Dybbuk sat below deck going through his pack of things he brought along with him. He would only be needing money in Ocllo, and lots of it. He saw in the bottom of his bag the kryss he used on Alana and took it out. He smiled as he saw the dried blood on it, but it quickly turned to a look of confusion as he noticed something odd. It had not been poisoned. This didnt make sence to him; he did'nt forget things like this. If he had'nt used a poisoned weopon, that must mean Alana was alive...
Dybbuk stuffed the kryss back into his bag and ran over to the captin. Grabbing him by his shirt Dybbuk demanded he turn the ship around and head back to the mainland. The captin looked confused but saw the rage in Dybbuk's eyes and dared not question it.
Questions rushed through Dybbuks mind as he climed up into the crows nest and looked back toward Minoc in disgust.
Why had'nt he poisoned the kryss?
He was going back now, one more time. He had unfinished busniess, and nothing would be stopping him. Soon he thought...
Soon he would end this.

He stood, only a few houses away from Alana's residence. His heartbeat changed from slow to fast as his mind wandered trying to clear itself for the task at hand. Opening his bloodshot eyes, both of which showed no white as his pupils where enlarged to their fullest, Dybbuk studied her lamp-lit house looking for signs of anyone but her inside. As he followed the shadows to her door, he checked one last time over his weopons. His kryss and both his daggers where poisoned this time- there would be no mistakes he thought to himself as he put his back to her door opening it slightly. He could hear her humming a song, as she cleaned the stables just meters behind him. Peaking his head around, he saw her facing away from him causing his heart to skip a beat and his hands to shake a bit. No sence in wasting any time here he thought, as he pulled out his kryss and took one last deep breath. In a instant, he sliped around the door and threw his poisoned kryss straight at her, aiming at the back of her chest. Just as he expected to see her body hit the ground with a kryss pirced into her heart he noticed out of the corner of his eye that it had never left his hand. He stood in disbelief for a moment, before putting his kryss away and pulling out his two daggers and closing his eyes. He saw himself in his mind, running over to her and killing her. Opening his eyes expecting to see he had done just that, he found himself frozen, unable to even take his eyes off her. Thoughts rushed in and out of his head; questions and horrors expecting to find himself in a dream or imaging all of this.
He was not dreaming. Alana stood across the room, unaware of his presence still humming a song as she cleaned. He then caught a glimpse of her eyes, and it felt as if he had pushed his kryss into his stomach. He could see her pain; her heartbreak and confusion over what he had done. Dybbuk's legs gave in, but they did not run to her but rather out the door then into the woods. They took him for what seemed an eternity, until he finaly colapsed onto his knees throwing up on the forest floor. His pulse thumped inside of his head, feeling like a mace hitting him in repeating patterns. He covered his ears with his hands, trying to gain control but failing as he threw up again. His body began to convulse as his collapsed fully onto the ground.
Nearly an hour later the seziure ended as he finally passed out from exhaustion...

Dybbuk sat looking out over the roof in deep thought at the Garden. He recalled the events of a few nights ago... He went to kill Alana and finish this, but he couldnt. He couldnt get himself to do it no matter what he treid. He still felt the pain of looking into her eyes, and then going over the edge of his sanity. He still felt the seziure, the pulsing headache, and then the emptyness of waking up and wandering for days like a mindless zombie. He had pulled himself together enough to go out and get a drink. Thats what brough him to the Garden... and what would untimitly seal his fate...

Dybbuk felt a chill run up his spine and then goosbumps on his arms. He faced away from the teleporter at the Garden, wondering with his eyes closed if he had stayed too long. When he heard the teleporter sound then catious footsteps he knew what they where here for. Slowly standing up with his hand on his spear, he turned around preparing to strike at the man sent to kill him. He stoped in his tracks and his spear hit the ground. It was Alana... she stood behind her guildmate Loki- when she saw him she was just as shocked and in terror as Dybbuk. She hid behind Loki grabbing his robe in fear of what Dybbuk might do. "Have... you come here to finish this, Alana? Have you come here... to get your revenge?" In fear and confusion she responded with a starmed "no...". Dybbuk stood in confusion aswell... why was she here? what should he do? what would she do? These questions raced threw his mind as he slowly turned around and pulled out his poisoned kryss. She let out a sigh of relief, when Dybbuk placeed his kryss on the table... the same kryss that had once been stabbed into her. "Take the kryss Alana... Kill me. Please, kill me so I dont have to kill you- finish what I have started and cannot end". With tears rolling down her face she responced, "I.. I cant kill you". "Why not?" asked Dybbuk looking out over the roof with his back still turned away from her. "Because... I love you and I cant hurt you" she said, still looking at him from behind Loki as he tried to figure out what was going on. When Dybbuk heard this, something rare happened to him, a tear fell from his eye and rolled down his face. Then Dybbuk, finally understanding that he could not hurt her either because of his love for her, picked up the poiosned kryss and pushed it into his stomach. He stammerd around, looking into Alanas eyes one last time before finally falling over the roof as everything turned to darkness...

Alana usually enjoyed doing her chores and taking care of her pets, but today was different. She hadn't slept very well that night and couldn't decide if she was more worried about Dybbuk or Miss Jolicia finding out what happened. She idley started brushing her mare, Nikita, as her mind drifted off into a million thoughts...

Why did Dybbuk try to hurt me? Why did he say he loved me beforehand? How could he think I would want to kill him last night? Why did he stab himself and jump off the roof after hearing that I still loved him?

Nikita snorted softly, pulling Alana back from her thoughts, "Oh, sorry girl. Guess I need to brush more than one spot." She started brushing over Nikita again as her mind began to wander...

I tried to ask Loki, but he didn't seem to understand. He just said that some people are just born with an evil heart. That can't be Dybbuk though... he was so caring. What am I thinking?! He almost killed me. How is it that I can still love him? I could barely even move when I saw him last night I was so frightened. Even... if he did change, would Miss Jo allow me to see him? Would I want to see him again? I don't even know if he's alive now...

Nikita lowered her head a little and nudged Alana gently. Alana looked up at her, tears running down her cheeks, "What should I do?" Nikita tilted her head, getting abit of a confused looked on her face. Alana shook her head, sniffling, "You don't know... Even if you did, it's not like you could answer me." Nikita snorted softly and nudged Alana again. Alana rubbed her head a little, then laying her head against Nikita's, "I do still love him, but I can't trust him. He's.. I don't even know if he's the same. He seemed so sad last night and then he jumped off the roof... and now I don't even know if he's alive."

The tears were falling off of Alana's cheeks faster now, holding onto Nikita's head. Nikita suddenly lifter her head up, her ears at attention. Fear struck Alana's heart, wondering if it was Dybbuk that Nikita sensed. Maybe he was really coming back to finish her off. Alana turned around quickly only to find a boy her age or younger peeking into the stables. Alana breathed a quick sigh of relief, patting Nikita on the side to reassure her. The boy, looking more scared than her, walked in slowly, "Sorry Ma'am. I have a message for a Miss Alana Wisperwind from my master."

Alana looked at him a little confused, trying to figure out who would be sending -her- a message, "I'm Alana." The boy nodded and moved to closer to hand her the note. She gently took it from him and opened it slowly, "Who is your Master?"
"A local healer Ma'am," the boy was toeing the dirt on the ground.
Alana's heart began to race, "Could this be news about Dybbuk?" she thought to herself. She started to read the message and her heart sunk. It appeared that Dybbuk was alive, but barely. It seemed the healer had found him unconscious. They had assumed there was no one to contact until he began to mumble during dreams and spoke of Alana. Her thoughts began to wander again...

Maybe I should go see him... He.. might need me. What if... maybe it's a trap? No, he wouldn't do that, but maybe he would. Miss Jo will never let me go by myself, but what if I don't tell her? Would she be angry at me? Oh, what should I do?

The boy coughed softly, "Ma'am? Are you alright?"
Alana looked up and nodded to him, tears running down her cheeks. She glance around the stables for a moment and then back to the boy. She sighed heavily, feeling very torn. She motioned for Nikita to follow her and moved closer to the boy. Her voice was a bit shaky, "Can you take me to him?" He nodded and handed her a rune to the healers. Alana opened a moongate and paused once more before walking through, thinking to herself, "I hope I'm doing the right thing."

Dybbuk awoke from a dream with a hand on his cheek finding himself in a healers house at Minoc. The hand belonged to a frightened Alana and was removed in a hurry when his eyes opened. She scooted away from him to the edge of the bed near his feet. "Am I.. Is this, a dream?" asked Dybbuk, trying to figure out what was going on. She shook her head as Dybbuk tried to lean up a bit but he colapsed back into the bed in pain. "I am not dead.." said Dybbuk sounded almost disapointed. "Why have you come here Alana? To mourn my passing?" Tears filled her eyes as she said in stammerd words, "I loved you.. I did'nt want to see you.. get hurt.." Hearing this Dybbuks eyes filled with tears. "The man that stabbed you is dead... It seems however, his sins have returned to me and I must carry them now" Lowering his head Dybbuk pushed back the tears and leaned up, groaning in pain as he did so. He put his arms around Alana and rested his chin on her shoulder. She put her arms around him slowly, still frighted of him. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry things happened this way... I'm sorry I hurt you..." "I know I can never take back what I did or gain your trust again, but what can I do to take away the pain I have brought upon you?" With tears dropping down her face, Alana responded by telling him "I dont want to see you hurt- Jo has people looking for you... I dont want you to die" "I will never forget you Dybbuk, Promice me you wont forget me?" "I wont forget you Alana, and I will never hurt you again" responded Dybbuk with his tears soaking Alanas dress. She backed away and grabbed his hand looking into his eyes for the first time since she had arived and kissed his lips one last time. She slowly got up and let go of his hand as Dybbuk sat there in tears. "Goodbye" she said one last time... and walked away... one last time...
