Jago Luthelair sat on the balcony of the Akalabethian Keep and looked out over the village. Akalabeth was growing again. It had been empty for to long. To the right of the fountain the construction workers continiued their work on two new buildings in the village. Directly to the right of the keep stood a large marble home newly constructed.
Several members of the Order sat within the keep discussing the way that the Order was heading. Many options have opened up for them recently. Still Jago pondered over recent events in the lands of Yew.
His village stood on the borders of Yew and he had an interest in the events there in as they affected his steading.
"Mi'Lord?", A servant interupted Jago's thoughts. "Your new General has arrived."
Jago nodded and turned back the into keep. |

Alex Brightblade stood in front of the Akalabethian Keep in awe of the structure and wondered if the inside of such a keep could compare to the beauty of the structure outside. He then paced back and forth waiting for the servant to return and take him to the Lord of the Lost Order of Akalabeth. Now it is hard to say what led the Knight here after his long grueling quest on Dagger Island for the first sword of power but nonetheless the Knight did feel called. He did have talks with Lord Jago Luthelair about a possible postion in the Order before he left and now he was for certain that this was the place he was to be at. After what seemed about an hour the servant finally returned.
"M'lord will see you now". was all the servant said as he turned to go back up the steps. Alex followed the servan up the stairs and through the keep and finally to the meeting hall. There standing before the guildstone of the Order stood his soon to be new Lord. Once in front of Lord Jago the knight bowed and then saluted. Jago greeted him warmly and bade him to sit. After a long talk about what Jago had planned for the Order the Knight stood and swore his sword and shield to the cause of the Order. He was then counted among the ranks. He and his new Lord then headed down the stairs to explore the villiage.
Alex was in awe of the beauty and splendor of the Villiage and a bit sad as well to see it not active as he heard it use to be in it glory. He and Lord Jago talked of many things of the future of the hopes of bringing new blood into the Order and rebuilding it stronger then ever. Then the stoped into of house that really looked at like houses. Jago then took a piece of paper out of his pack and handed it to Alex..
Alex then opened up the paper and began to read then realizing it was a deed to the house in this name. He at first was shocked then suprised and was about to decline till Lord Jago spoke.
"This is your new home my friend welcome to the Order and in the villiage, may you keep it as becan of light and may you make good use of it for yourself and the Order. this is my gift to you as my new General."
Alex decided then best to accept the house then question the mans gift. He then thanked his Lord and began to inspect the buildings. After awhile he began to think of ideas of what to do with the houses to better benefit the guild, by this time Lord Jago had gone onto other important bussiness leaving the Knight alone to think. One thing for certain passed through the knights mind as he continued to think of ways to use the home and that was he would not let the Order or Lord Jago down. He would help rebuild the Order even if it cost him his life. _________________ Ser Derek uth Matar |
