Jago slammed his fist on his desk hardly noticing the ink that splattered across the books and walls. He cursed as he stormed out of the library and out of the keep. He paused briefly at the statue at the bottom of the stairs, enscribed on the statue were the words, "LOA Village".
Once the village was a proud community and all buildings in the area belonged to LOA and its members. That all recently changed. One of the last members took it upon himself nearly single handily ruin the village and it's storied history. One trusted with the deeds to the Brewman Tavern, Ironworks, ROM and others. Now these structures had new owners, ones who were not of Akalabeth.
And if that were not enough, the coffers that held the funds of the order were now gone too!
Jago strolled quickly towards the Yew Abby to discuss the events with the banker as a thought crossed his mind. He paused at the door as he heard shouting within. Quietly he made his way to the second floor and watched as events unfolded below. A small crowd had gathered and watched as the Army of the Frontier was confronted by the Yew Militia. Silently he watched the events below.
"Interesting," He murmured to himself. "I wonder..."
Shaking his head he left them as thoughts formed and plans began to take form. He quickly drained his bank account to repurchase property in the village and headed off to the Akabethian Keep. |
