|
After discussing it with Wolf Strongblade, we have decided to give rebuilding Findar a chance. Findar will not be located where it once was due to housing issues, but in time, we will return to our former glory, or so we hope. Our rules are simple, and are formatted to provide a quality Dwarven Role-play experience. (This is not a competition with DWF. DWF and DKF are in talks of a merger.)
Requirements:
Beards and long hair.
Name (Having a Dwarven name is vital to getting accepted)
Ability to follow rules.
Possible skill lists: Tactics, Anatomy, Swords, Macing, Parry, Healing, Chivalry, Blacksmithy, Tailoring, Lumberjacking, Mining, Alchemy, Arms Lore, Carpentry, Fishing, Hiding, Resisting Spells, Tinkering, Wrestling, Tracking, Focus, Archery
Dwarven Fighting:
Axes, halberds, bardices, maces, war axes, war maces, hammer picks, war hammers, crossbows, heavy crossbows, repeating crossbows (That means swords, macing, or archery as a fighting skill)
Armor: Valorite armor, GM only. Armor will be given out based on ranking.
Leadership: Discussion to be Held.
This is what we have so far. There is more detail that will be discussed with DWF during merger talks.
*Update* We placed a house, 9x14 3 story, around the area formerly known as Findar. I am REALLY excited about this.

Good luck with that
I'm glad there isn't going to be competition between both dwarven guilds. Just wouldn't make sense _________________ Dryzzid#5091 | 74503058 |

MY MOUNTAIN!
Then they play a game of GunBound style cannon firing to see who wins? Or something. |

Drinking contest ye say? I can drink any man, dwarf or orc under the table any day of the week! And once I'm under the table I can drink more!

Just a question, but are you requiring a new character creation like Orc does? Because of the specific skills needed, the specific hair, and the mandatory dwarf name, seems the easiest way, just wondering if you were requiring it or not. _________________ Honor is the sword I wield...

Hrm.. well creating a new character would be the best way to go about things that was one of the rules with DWF unless it was a person that was an established roleplayer who was willing to purchase a name change to a dwarven name if the character isnt a dwarf and also is willing to spend money on a changing there looks ingame by finding a hairstylest I'd have no problems with that and I am sure it be something simliar with Findar once all the rules are hammered out. |

Nothing wrong with Dwarves not liking each other. Look in Dragonlance, the mountain dwarves dont like the hill dwarves, and neither of them like the gully dwarves. _________________

To me there are only two types of dwarves.
The ones that fight back when you try to enslave them to work in the mines.
THe ones that don't!
...
Just joking, good to see an organized dwarf group come back! |
