Anna twirled the golden dagger in her hand a brief moment as she smiled at the young girl. The young girl almost started to relax thinking maybe she would be set free and all the things she had been told about Anna were just tales to scare the young to be good in Yew. This of course was the girl last thought as Anna sliced the dagger threw the air slicing the young girl’s tender throat as she grinned seeing the white flesh part and the rich sweet blood began to flow. Anna quickly placed a goblet to the gash as the blood poured into the cup. Taking a quail pen and a scroll, Anna dipped the pen into the goblet and began to write as the young girl lay on the floor, her body twitching as she gave her last sign of life.

My Darling Dealthagar,

It is most imperative that I meet with you. I have been combing Yew looking for you and even went to OUR home on the Isle. Where oh where is my Darling Dealthagar? Oh where oh where can he be? Surly your not wandered again my love to that harlot you told me of? Darling you must really stop all this bed hopping and settle down. Anyway, I must see you so seek me out.

Your Darling Wife,
Anna

Anna blew on the scroll till the blood had harden on the parchment. She grabbed a raven from a cage near her desk and tied the scroll to the ebon bird’s neck. She gently kissed it’s sharp beak as she released the bird to fly to her lover. Anna looked at the carcass on the floor, “ Hmm, I hope Unity won’t be mad… but I ran out of ink for my inkwell.” Anna shrugged slightly and slipped back into her coffin

Dealthagar opened the letter that sat upon his desk. After regarding it with some amusement. Sitting down, he withdrew a botle of purple ink from the drawer. A small whir and a click, and a golden quill tip sprung forth from his left forefingertip. He contemplated his words for a momentthen dipped the quill in the ink and began to write.

Beloved,

I am as I always am, out and about amongst the peoples of Sosaria. If we are to take control of Yew, we must win the hearts, minds and souls of these people. Putting down a rebellion is nasty business.

I am concerned that you worry of my heart and it's attachments.

You are correct; we must speak.

I will make it a point to return to the Awakening Castle this evening by eleven o'clock. I can only hope you will be there. It would warm my heart to see your lovely face and hear your enchanting voice. I am incomplete without you.

Your devoted husband,

Dealthagar
Technocrat Primus of Sosaria
Oracle of Control

Finishing the letter he folded it into an envelope and sealed it with a blob of purple wax, his symbol, the gear, blackening the mark. Handing it to a small mishapen mechanical servant he muttered in a low, threatening voice. "Take this to my wife. Make cetain she gets it or you will return to the forge. Do you understand me?"

The servant clicked nervously and sped out of the fortress as fast as its crystalline wings could take it.
