|
After comming back from the Young Kingdoms and making sure that the war agaisnt Chaos was continuing to go well, Tarothin was sitting with his arms laying outstretched on the desk. In his hands he was fiddling with a chess piece while blankly staring at the wall in front.
After thinking a little while, he then placed the chess piece on one of his maps. Sliding his arm's into his lap his eyes focused upon the pawn.
"We will be meeting tonight. But in which direction will you move? Or should I say, in which direction will I make you move?" He laughed lightly at the thought. "There are two ways to make someone move in a direction you wish them to. One way takes time, another is very fast indeed."
Playing more with the pawn, and quickly glancing at other chess pieces around the table, then back to it. "I had hoped to have used you before having the need to discard you. But it seems that the way other's have moved as well as your rash movements ahead, I feel it to be a wiser move to sacrifice a simple pawn. And in turn, gain better positioning with a few pieces over all."
Knocking over the piece he then focused on the parchment to the left of him. Taking his quill and ink jar, he began to write something. Pausing at another thought, "I think the leaders for order need to meet again. I believe it is almost time for this grand order of ours to become known to all....soon...very soon. Time is starting to slip idly by, without many moves being made. It is time that more were done so." |
