It seemed to be a rather quiet night about Hansel’s Hostel. Andreas had just completed a full patrol of Sanctus and casually came to find him parked in front of the tavern. Rarely, did he go inside, and preferred to watch the passers by and stay in the open air outside.
He then noticed a new citizen of Sanctus, and began to strike up a friendly conversation.

It was not long before a large, brute of a “man” came bursting out and in a rude manner interrupted the two’s pleasant conversation. The “man” commanded the Lord Paladin of Sanctus to listen without regard or polite acknowledgement of his knightly and noble status, not to mention the on-going conversation.

The “man” demanded his attention with brash, and harsh language directed at an overdue supply that he was supposedly entitled too. Both Andreas and the new citizen were shocked at the obvious abandonment of manners and the foul language that soon gave cause for embarrassment to the City State’s officer and citizen. “You Bastards have been holding things up for a week”!

Bastard? Andreas was glad Princess Skyfire was not present, for there surly would have been a serious issue. However, in his traditional and customary manner, Andreas politely stated that he would address the “man’s” request, albeit disrespectful, to The High Council. Andreas, asking who made such demands, the man replying: “Arlin”.

Andreas now recognized this man to be the captain of some newly founded arm of Sanctus called “The Army of the Frontier”. And The Lord Paladin began to wonder if his fellow officers had made a mistake in regard to such a “man’s” appointment. The matter would be discussed behind closed doors.
