She couldn't help but watch him as he slept. A smile helplessly tug at her lips as she debated on whether to make the trip back to Britain. "Oh, I simply do not wish to go..." It was inevitable that she would need to return, yet, alas, the more time she spent within his dashing company the more it pained her to return to the Conservatory. Thinking of the length of the journey, as well as the lateness of the hour, she wrinkles her nose in subtle defiance. "I hardly think they shall miss me..." she thinks to herself. "At least not for a little bit longer..." The further she delved in her studies with Gabriel the more difficult it became to slip away.
A lingering sigh escapes her lips as she takes a glance to her standing harp sitting in the corner of the room. Music, her life time obsession, seemed to be quickly fading from her list of priorities. It was becoming more and more of a chore, than a symbol of peace, since becoming accepted into the Conservatory of Music. The haunting reminders that one does not become a legendary musician by merely playing upon whim rivaled in the back of her mind. Yet, despite the scrutiny she was under, she rose from the divan with her radient smile adorning her lips.
A mere glimpse in Galathan's direction causes that radient smile to shine even brighter... "Ah, love... your appreciation for my music is enough for me.... even should I not become legendary.." Twas not as though he could hear her soft spoken words, although his gentle snore of a retort gave the impression that he could. The sun was begining to bleed into the night sky and she still was not quite ready for bed. With featherd steps across the bedroom floor she led herself into her powder room. Upon entering into the room, she quickly brought her hand over her mouth to stiffle the rupture of giggles. "Oh dear..." In all of the pandemonium of redecorating her quaint abode she had nearly forgotten to set Galathan's armour out on the balcony to dry. She couldn't help the laughter as she scooped up his damp clothing-- his sillyness, was, by far his most desirable quality. Not many, aside from perhaps herself, would wade in a bath clad head to toe in armour.
"Ah.. now what to wear..." Of course she could not wear to bed what she normally would, as despite being engaged.. they still were not married. Although, with great thought and careful searching through her dresser she manages to discover a modest pair of satin long pants and matching shirt. Tip-toeing back into the powder room she swiftly undresses, and splashes on a dab of lilac perfume. The aroma alone seeming to sooth her entire being into a state of relaxation. He was still sleeping soundly she discovers upon the re-entrance to her bedroom. Drawing back the covers, careful not to disturb his peaceful slumber, she crawls into bed. Brushing back a golden lock that had whimsically fallen into his face, she places a goodnight kiss to the valiant warrior's forehead. "I love you," she whispers, before drifting off to sleep aswell. |
