Does anyone know of a journal converter that works with Windows 8? I hate writing stories; particularly the dialogue within those stories. I had an old journal converter that I got from stratics years ago. It worked great with Windows 2000 when I first started using it. It worked great on Windows XP. It had some issues on Windows VIsta, but what didn't. And those same problems popped up in Windows 7. But it won't even pretend like its working on Windows 8.

Also I've been looking for a way to get Auto Map to work. I've tried downloading a few different mods of it from various sites but none seem to work. Even the developer site flat out states that they no longer support it. I even tried to link it up through UO Assist thinking that might help. But even some features in UO Assist don't work on Windows 8.

I thought Automap stopped getting updated a long time ago.. someone released UO Cartographer. Here is a list on the forums here of useful downloads.

As for journal, there should in the options menu on one of the tabs be a checkbox to save chat log to note file. I use it in the EC, and I know it is in the Classic, also. I am not 100% sure if it works in classic, but I can verify the EC. The chat logs get saved in the programs menu in c drive where your game files are.
