[Acheron]

Acheron stands solemly in a small fenced in field outside the Moonglow HQ staring straight down.......

"I will miss this little patch of dirt" he says reaching down to take a handful of soil....

Rubing the dirt between his hands he holds it close to his face and takes a deep slow breath, breathing in the soil sending memories of his years training the militia coursing through his brain......

This fielddoesn't grow much....except warriors....some of the finest Sosaria has ever seen....

A sense of pride washes over him as this thought hits him and realzing his role in maintaining the tradition....

Pulling a dagger from his boot he begins to meticulously remove his Militia Commander stripes from his robe......

This should stay here....in this field where it has meaning.....where it was given meaning

Kneeling he pushes the patch halfway into the dirt......

Here it can stay...so maybe one day another bold man may claim it......

As he begins to rise he hears an all too familar stomp near the fence door......

RYU!!!!!!

Opening the gate Acheron leans over to Ryu and removes his collar......

Time to be free old friend....where I'm going noone can follow....

Before Ryu can convince him otherwise Acheron slams the gate shut and jams an arrow into it so Ryu cannot follow...

A few steps down the road Acheron turns back towards the field.....

"Ryu!!" Acheron says giving a sharp salute....

"Semper Veritas"
