Here is my thought:
Make up a caravan with supplies, finished product, food and walk across the land. The idea being to sell "goods" off the caravan to anyone who needs it, role players and non role players. I was thinking of goods like simple imbued suits, furniture, simple weapons, carry boards, ingots, maybe reagents, bottles, potions, a "traveling store". Then when arriving at a city, any player who is a citizen of that city could donate food to earn fame for the city. I apologize if I am not clear enough

We did this a few times on Catskills. It's actually pretty fun. The only downside is the time between towns. I could be wrong but I haven't noticed a lot of RPer housing along the main roads between the mainland towns. I hope I'm wrong. It's just it could be a little boring. Unless there were bandits hiding in the woods waiting for an ambush.

Also another fun idea might be trying to take that caravan to some of the island towns via ship.

I agree there may not be much between cities but also figured it would be a time to do things like, chop more wood, kill animals for food, maybe a bit of mining if the route is along a mountain......and yes i do expect the interaction to be more in the cities.

TRAVELING STORE: We will be walking about Sosaria selling goods: Saltpeter, black powder, cannons, repairs, furniture, armor, weapons, a bit of EVERYTHING.
The caravan will start at 8:00:
Nov 3. We will start in Jhelom and wander up the coast to Skara Brae then wander up to Yew.
Nov 10, we will start in Yew and sail to Minoc then wander down to Vesper.
Nov 17, we will start in Vesper and sail to Nujel'm then sail to Moonglow.
Nov 24, we will start in Moonglow and sail to Magincia then sail to Serpents Hold.
Dec 1, we will start in Serpent's Hold and Sail to Trinsic then sail to Buc's Den.
Dec 8, we will start in Buc's Den and sail to Cove then walk to Britain.
Have no fear, supplies will be replenished as we go.

We did this years ago and I am all for it. Let's hope we don't loose electric here for too long with the storm coming.
