"Diligence, Control and Passion are our Pillars." Tall even in his seated position, Tybaal slowed his speech in an effort to explain in a way she might understand. "Pillars are principles."

"Love." Cerys softly interjected.

"Yes?"

"No Dear." Laughing softly at his response Cerys continued. "Love is a principle for your world. These three are ours though they are what yours are based on, really." Her smile genuine as she rested it on Arin.

Arin tried to keep up as the volley of speech between the two increased in speed. Excited and knowledgeable, she listened as Tybaal's voice rose and fell on the tide of syllables. Information crested and flowed from him as clearly as the blue he wore would have in the sea. Foam capped interjections by Cerys accentuated the highlights as Arin leaned deeper into the pair.

Education had been something of a hands on experience in Haven. Apprenticeships were wisdom's path and as such, the only real way to learn. Observation as the clients wove in and out of their errands. Attending to the needs while listening carefully all contributed to a specific learning environment. Dark blue eyes darted between the gargoyle and her new friend. Hours earlier amidst the carnage of the Honor Moongate she had to wonder if Diligence would have helped the group that slowly fell to time's minions? Her feeble attempts to actually hit a moving target certainly hadn't.

"CERYS!" Her 5'4'' frame came skidding around the corner of 907 Amudosa way and barely missed clipping the flax plant with anything but her pigtails. "CERYS!" She should have waited for someone to actually say come in before throwing open the door, but this was too important. Her foot caught on the hamster and sent her flying up and over the chair that Tybaal sat in last night. She grabbed hold of the corner to the arch door on the left and slid into the kitchen coming face to face with her friend.

"The Boura needs a Depressant!"

"A depressant?" She could tell the violet eyed elven was trying her best to suppress a laugh while still humoring her.

"Yes! They're stampeding some cartographer north of the city."

"I see. What did the cartographer do?" Reason seemed to be at the forefront of her friends mind today.

"I have no clue, but we can't let them trample him!"

"You remember the Yew Berries from the other day?"

Nodding with wild abandon, Arin shook her head up and down to convey the point.

"Those should help. Just get close enough for the Boura to take a sample." Cerys bent at the waist, twisting her head as her friend took off the same way she came, almost landing on the hamster before making it back out the door."

STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!

"HERE!" Shoving her hand under the great beasts mouth she pulled her head back at an angle in an effort to put some distance somewhere.

SNORT!

Her Blue eyes wide with fear she watched as the animal lifted its snout, shifting over her hand and grasped the handful of berries with its overly large tongue. Grinning from ear to ear as the animal finally did as requested, her goofy smile faded as the Boura inhaled strongly and sneezed. the blast of air sending strings of clear mucus large enough to tarp a house flying over her body. Stock still she stared at the creature with her hand still extended as she blinked beneath the sticky mass. A soft nod of its head at the sight of the snot covered girl and it turned to lumber away.

Despite the mess it was clear the berries were going to work. Returning to the trough she'd kept them in, she gathered two full baskets and begin to creep up on the other 6 Boura currently occupying the field north of the Royal City. An hour later the last of the berries were down the the final large gullet of the last Boura. Wiping her brow she turned heading back to her friends house when the ground shook and forced her to her knees on the grassy knoll.

"Ter Mur get's quakes?"

She flipped her pigtail over her shoulder and pushed up as loud thud resounded and the ground shook once more. Whipping her head around she caught sight of the Four ton Boura as it hit the ground. It's eyes were open and covered in a glassy sheen.

"NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!!" From one to another she checked the Boura she'd fed. Dread curled and coiled in her belly the same way bad nectar did when it had been in the heat too long and she hadn't stopped to sniff it.

All down.

All dead.

All her fault.

"CERYS!!!!!" Fast enough to outrun Imy had the tiny winged creature been there, Arin took off for Amudosa way.
