Rather tiny in every way, most didn't consider Rowan to be more than cute. Admittedly she was cute. She worked hard at it and knew it was part of her superpowers. However, she was far more than that. She was determined.

A few months prior she had found an odd little kingdom that housed her minions with open arms. She felt quite happy with the place, but knew to keep quiet about it. She visited rather often, the statue with the pixie affirming her belief that this place was hers. She had an inate ability with the folks behind the Hostel, and every inch just welcomed her. Even the guards fell for her adorableness and gave her honey. There was but one tiny problem with the place. They forbade the use of Necromancy.

Rowan, being Rowan, decided that alone wasn't an obstacle. The castle... that was an obstacle. Someone had built the thing with huge HOLES in the FLOOR!! Each pass caused her to fall. She tried to even fly across, but the downdraft was too strong for her tiny body, and she still fell. An important lesson was learned... don't fly over holes in houses. Yet, again, Rowan did have a wonderful superpower; she was determined.

It took a week, if not longer, falling, crashing, hitting walls and floors, before she finally discovered the secret to the pathway. Truly, who put holes in floors? Daft people, that's who! Once there, the guards seemed a little astonished, but still smiled kindly, and fetched her honey. However, yet again, she was up against an obstacle. Most times, they put it in that forest with the mindless, making her leave the castle... (another feat all on its own) and heading out to the forest, grabbing the pot, kicking off the pixies trying to take the goods away from their commander, and having to drag it past the (Yet again!) HOLES IN THE FLOOR!

It was after much of this that Rowan had penned the letter to her father, established the cushion-ness of the throne, and verify that, yes, there had been a smith working next door. She met three of her subjects. Alright, so maybe one might not be, because he was asking about the place, but the other two definitely were! One lived in a place a Mr. Bizarre Lock used to live. He was nice and informed her the Talon monster used to live within the holey floored castle. The smith, she informed her of the holey floor's defense and a mayor. A Miss Ivy Sky or some-such. Being her brother was but two, she decided that the mayor should work with the Ivy lady and become an apprentice. She only hoped that the lady's pets didn't bite the mayor. He bit back.

With much settled, and an odd joy being presented at being in such a fun place, (with her honey, of course) Rowan set forth to thinking of her next tasks within her city. New laws, new ways, and most importantly, a new life for the tiniest queen.
