I hope this doesn't sound silly, but should we answer this as one of our specific characters or as ourselves, the player?

I answered as my character. Dit & Imy woulda answered the same for diff ways of looking at it.

Ditto is like: Who is to say what is right and what is wrong? If we follow our heart, we will always do what is right. Heart = Family.

Imryrr: Order is what is right. WE make the Order, we make the "right", by force if necessary. (Imy's family consists of Tarothin so um...yeah)

BAsically doing something you KNOW is wrong to have your family survive, ie stealing bread to feed them so they can survive cold winters (<3 Les Miserables)

Izrem: Doing what is "right". Family's purpose is to serve the greater aims and ends of Oblivion. There is no higher calling than death in service to Nothingness. In essence, duty is more important than any personal concerns for loved ones. As little as the phrase "loved ones" means to a drow with a partially consumed soul.

Va'nag: Protecting the family. What is "right" and defending the family/clan is functionally the same thing.

When I was young I stole babyfood to feed my infant daughter and I ate popcorn to survive through the end of the month until I could get some help. I would not hesitate to repeat that should my family have no food but I would not harm anyone ever other than in defence of my family.
