ICly if you go looking for the Cabal, you won't find them ^^. We will just tell you they don't exist.

I suggest just going to a tavern night, see where your character fits by interacting with the other members of the community. Other then that, you could always take a look at the Guild sections of the forums and get a "OOC" perspective on whats what.
