After-Part Two

The Escape

She Awoke, and again the radiating pain shot through her. It was as if every fiber in her body demanded her attention, screaming out that she was in the wrong spot at the wrong time. Don't deny it, give into it. That is when the flash of rage hit her, she lost her thoughts, her mind became another's and she began to lash out.

Her hand shot up towards the sky and a pillar of flames reigned down upon the man in her path. Screaming, burning he writhed on the ground the smell of burning flesh rising in the air. Weapons were drawn on her instantly and they came at her fast. Her white hair blazed in the night like the lightning that shot from her spells, Electrocuting the victims in her path. Her eyes glowed red with determination, anger, passion. Passion for death.

He moved seamlessly between Senjin and the surviving horde. Graeve's massive bulk rearing up into the air his razor hooves coming down upon one man's skull. Now. Graeves firmly spoken word moved thru her and the words left her mouth as if on cue, Rel Por. In a moment she was clutching the shiny black mane of the demon horse. His eyes like hers burning thru the night. Like the wind he moved, faster then normal mounts, his hooves churning the earth before them.

Kaane...

The statement was simple but carried a wealth of meaning to the horse. He snorted and instantly changed his direction, they both knew instinctively the way they must go, the way they must always travel.

Prior-Part One

Asylum

Screams and shrieks filled the night air of the Asylum. Dark walls sprung up around the Asylum made of Obsidian and infused with Blackrock. Inside lay the most dangerous mages. Years of technique had gone into the construction of this place, as a keeper for those mortally dangerous and insane. The Blackrock disrupted thier abilities to cast and the wizards and mages within walked with hollow, gaunt faces, surviving unspeakable tortures.

Except one. They had bound her in a jacket that restricted her movement, though this seemed hardly necessary for most hours of the day she slept. She only awoke for but an hour, to take in sustenance. Her face could be no more pale for it was pure white as was her hair. They had tried to cut her hair short but it would regrow by the next morn and hence they had given up their efforts.

It was upon the coldest morning of the season, at precisely 6:01 a.m. the guards looked out from their parapets and there in the mists rose a dark horse, like a Harbinger he was, and behind him followed many other dark horses similar but smaller. The guards rubbed their eyes for they simply could not believe the vision that was displayed before them and it made no sense for there were no riders.

The lead horse, an imposing figure, was outlined against the deepening red dawn. Suddenly, and without warning the trees moved as hundreds of birds, took wing and the sky grew dark for a moment from their flapping wings.

Together the legion of horses lifted their front leg and with a resounding thud they pawed the ground three times. From this a ripple in the ground soon grew and the spell was cast. An Earthquake of great destructive force released a tremor upon the landscape, causing a rift that fast surrounded the blackrock walls, until they came crashing down. All upon them were crushed and buried alive as the ground swallowed up this man made creation.

Graeve called her now and she awoke, it was time to come home, the Bloodroot had returned.
