Learning the truth Korin found was sometimes easier than suspecting. More and more after learning that Laramie was truely dead, Korin found himself once more heading into the painted caves. Korin had no real dislike for the trogs, but there were plenty of them and they put up a decent fight.

Korin lost track of time as the trog bodies began to pile up on the floor, maybe it was this lack of attention that caused him to become dismounted and now fighting off the trog onslaught on foot.

Then She was there again a slight smile on her face, sitting atop her horse watching him. After only a few words were spoken she dismounted and joined him in the fight. At one point the two stood back to back fighting off a large group of trogs that had surrounded them. With two fighting things slowed the trogs still came but no where near as fast.

This gave Korin time to turn and watch his new found friend, as she gracefully dispatched trog after trog. The first time they had met Korin had given a few helpful hints on her fighting style. As he watched now she seemed to have listened. She turned and cut a smile at korin, her face was splattered and smeared with blood from a trog. Korin told her to follow him outside the cave. Then she parried a blow from her last trog and side stepped delievering the fatal blow to that creature. There was something that caught in Korins mind about her movements just then. Something he could not place.

Out side the cave Korin stepped in front of her and for reasons still he is not sure of, he reached up and cupped her face in both his hands. Asking her to close her eyes, which she did. Useing his thumbs he gently wiped the blood from her eye lids and nose.
