I sat staring at the moon as the cold breeze began to gently blow from the southern rim of the island. The moon shown down a pale blue light, the water... the water surrounds me keeping me from my destination. How can I convince these people of the evil that surrounds water. They look at me and try to convince me that ale or wine is bad but how can it be when that which they claim to be bad is what saved my life..

* sometime ago in the past*

The wagon came to a halt, the hooded figure emerged from the covered carriage and slowly walked to the front. There at his feet was a pale body of a woman that lay motionless he carefully lifted the body carrying her back into the wagon.


*sometime later*

back at the monastery the woman lay in bed speaking of something chasing her. Its coming for me. The monk spent day after day caring for aulbrey, each day she grew stronger and stronger. Soon she was well enough to attend the services. It was at these services that aulbrey learned of the drunken virtues. Spending much of her time with the monks she showed a natural calling towards these drunken virtues. As she grew older she felt the need to share with others what she as learned. Aulbrey soon ventured out into the world to teach others of the drunken virtues. As she left she turned around and made the sign of the ankh and promised that from this day forward she would always meditate in drunkenness when she was scared or needed guidance. With her guide book at her side she turned and walked away.
