Asking her grandfather's use of a messenger, Thoryne sends him to seek out Lord Arahim to deliver her message, as she has no clue where he lives.

Dear Lord Arahim,

I hope this message finds you well. I have been plagued by nightmares lately. Do you know any tricks for stopping them? I know its odd to write to you about this but I feel like maybe, you would know? I don't want to tell mum as I think she will just tell me to be brave or get over it or something. That I am to old for nightmares. Yet I have had them relentlessly since we last spoke. Maybe I could come get a few books next week? That might give me something else to think about.

I still think you should let me pull weeds. Mum says that one must always work for what they get, they must never be slovenly and expect things to be given to them.

Want to know a secret? When you were around the other day, I sorta didnt miss my dad quite as much. I won't ever forget dad but..your a dad to, it was nice..

My Dear Thoryne,

I do indeed have an answer to nightmares, but fear to simply put them upon paper in case our missives are intercepted. And so I ask you, and your mother, if it is feasible that you both come meet with me at the gates of Trinsic either this evening or the next where we may talk further.

It is not in my nature to discard a promise, and so my books are yours. If it will make the knowledge you glean easier to accept, I may have some tasks for you as it seems I must be away for a week at least. I know a little garden that could use a friendly hand or two.

I look forward to seeing you, and your mother very much...and very soon I hope.
