A scroll delivered to Kor’inth Do’aere by a handsome young man who looked terribly frightened.

To Princess Kor’inth Do’aere, grandaughter and priestess of Lloth.

Dear lady,

I am writing this letter with hope that you grant me the honor to meet you once again following our meeting the other night.

If you would indulge my wish, I have a few things to inquire of you that I rather do in person than through correspondence.

As for the time and place of our meeting, I shall leave such details to your discretion; I am usually available at about the same time as the past gathering.

I apologize for the brevity and abruptness of my letter, and I hope you enjoy the ‘gift’ bearing this letter. Please dispose of him as you see fit.

Kor'inth licked the corner of her lip where a small trickle of blood had escaped as two drow servants removed the lifeless messenger corpse from the room. She once again took quill to parchment to reply to Lady Krynn's note.

M'Lady Krynn,

What a pleasant surprise it was to hear from you and I will grant your request for a meeting. Allow the drow quarter to be honored with your visit for so not only may I show you around the city but also to show the inhabitants that you and your kin will be welcomed to walk among them. Mother will not disapprove as long as respect is shown to our town, statues, and to our Goddess. Once beyond the borders, you many continue to as before. There are many ways to reach Shinduago Charnaggen, one being the easiest as crossing the southern bridge out of Umbra, look for the houses with spiders woven into the rooftop tiles. The second is from the house of portals in Tokuno (if you can travel there in safety and hidden from the annoying ninjas). Should you use the house of portals, please go to the tile with the spider on it. I have also provided Lord Draven with a book of runes directly into the quarter as well when I replied to his message.

Now as for the day of the meeting, mid-week would seem to be the best time within my schedule. Wednesday, at nine o'clock under the eastern skies. I will meet you by the town's protector. You cannot miss him as he is a large golden spider. Please take caution not to approach him too closely as he tends to attack strangers. If this is not a good time for you, we can make other arrangements for the end of the week as well.

I look forward to satisfying any and all questions you have. I await your reply. Oh and thank you so much for the gift, he was quite tasty and "AB" positive is certainly a delicacy around these parts.

Yours sincerely in the lifeblood,
Princess Kor'inth Do'aere,
Abbas Parum Custodis of Lord Ian Nottingham
High Priestess of Lloth

Using her custom made wax seal to represent both her parents' clan, Kor'inth sent the note back to Lady Krynn by one of her mother's Obsidian spider messengers. She gave instructions to the spider to stay within the shadows once the note is delivered in case Alathea wished to send a reply. The spider clacked it's mandible in understanding and scurried off.

A rolled parchment sealed with black wax was left on Kor’inth’s door. The seal breakable only by her.

The message reads:

Princess Kor’inth Do’aere,

Thank you for your kind invitation. Barring any unfortunate incidents, I most surely will visit you by the appointed hour.
Regards,

Alathea Krynn
