I posted the manifesto first so that everyone can get an idea about what this is before it happens. This is the idea Isk brought up in Shimakaze's "Why do you roleplay?" thread and that I noted I had been planning to establish.

I plan to hold the first meeting of this new society in-game very soon. I'm tentatively shooting for an 8:00pm EDT time on a Thursday, with the meeting to be held in Trammel Jhelom at the Counselor's Guild, which, if the claims map is accurate, does not belong to anyone. Of course, if anyone is willing to sacrifice their tavern night, that would be a lot easier, but I don't expect that to happen. Basically, I want to know if there are any conflicts inherent to the time, day or location. I'd also like to get an idea of the interest this sort of thing might have among you folks, as well as availability. Assuming people enjoy it, it won't be the last one.

Also, please hold any questions you might have about it. After the first meeting, things should be clear, if they aren't already. It's really not that complicated—just think of it as a sort of tavern night, but more structured and with a focus on intellectual discussion. I'll also be taking questions in-character during the event and OOC after it. One thing I will say is that, although there IS an [EP] guild, it's mostly there so that Rosar can be warred to others without joining another guild, all of which he simply feels he does not belong with. You can join if you want, but doing so is not required to be a Wayfarer, if you so desire to identify yourself as such.

Since there appear to be no conflicts, I will schedule this for the 14th of April at 8:00 EDT at the Counselor's Guild in Trammel Jhelom. I hope to see some of you there.
