Tom (Will Kaldhel) and I have spent that last 4 months preparing for this week. His diagnosis was grim but after several opinions, we have gone to the place where they wrote the books and he now has a great prognosis. We leave tomorrow for Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and his surgery is scheduled for Wednesday at 1pm. If you pray (and I do) say a little one at 1 for the doctors and for Tom and myself for courage and strength and healing. I pray that after this surgery and perhaps a little Chemo just to be sure they get all the cancer he will have a complete recovery. When they said Cure I was thrilled. We will return home on Sunday and if I can post before that to let everyone know how he did in surgery I will. Thank you all for all your thoughts and prayers over the past few months, they are paying off. I will really enjoy being able to relax a bit after all this is over and maybe get in some real game time. I have missed you guys.

Great news. We are back home and his surgery was awesome with some suprising news when the doctor looked at the lymph nodes. He saw no abnormalities at all. They are still sending them off for tests but he is fairly certain that the lymph nodes are not involved at all so we caught it in time.
Thank you all for your support and kind words, they kept my spirits up.
While I was there I met a former player and a young guy that has friends that play. I hope they will be joining us soon in the community.
