The support team has been working on something to recognize people of the community. We are going to start a player of the quarter. With this being said. We as a community need nominate people. Please tell us why you nominated them. Then the support team will take it to three people and then the GM's will nominate the person for the quarter. Please don't think just because your person wasn't picked . That you cant nominate them again. Please don’t think that we don’t think they are important. Everyone is very important in this community. The person does not have to be in a guild. They have to be a role-player. We are working on a badge so that player can have it during the time they are "player of the quarter. Please let the nominations start.

ok I will start with a player of the quarter nomination.

I feel sinful candies/merial is a great example of a community player. She has a large shop that has everything but besides that. IF you ever needed anything she will help you. IF she cant she will lead you to a place where you can get the help you need. She is not new to rp but restarting again. Her players can be seen all around. She is usually toting a pack animal with her. She has always been friendly and helpful. These are my reasons for her nomination.

I am not sure what to say but Thank you Wynn, I am honor. I always have enjoy helping others when I can. I started Sinful Candie mall a few years back, because I could never find what I needed when I started playing. Since then it has grown into 2 malls now. Again Thank you! *turns and feeds her llamas*

I think people are afraid it's going to become a pointless popularity contest, but I don't really care too much.

Because no one else is getting into it, I'm going to nominate Isk. Not only is he a great roleplayer, but he has made himself and Magincia the source of a great deal of the conflict within our little community—and conflict is what makes things fun. Oh, and he's a nice guy, but don't tell him I said that. Isk, if you read that, I have to kill you.

Also, eh kills elfs and doesnt afraid of anytihng.

Im going outside of my guid and im going to nominate Tatiana Thorn, She is there when you need her, She is selfless, helps you when you need a hand with anything. She has helped me on many occasions, and she has done so much for this community. She is even brave enough to go into yew fell to drop food and repair deeds, unarmed and she get killed a few times doing it. We see her there all the time. That is my nomination. Smile

I would like to nominate Yoshi Shimakaze;

Since forming TDF she has always been there as a pillar of strength. From being plunged into having to do the tea ceremony weeks before she was ready for the empress of tokuno and pulling it off, to her supporting role as my daughter and the lady in waiting to the empress. Her reactions and storyline of responding to her (in game) death of her mother and supporting stories on the ARPC / TDF / Blue Lotus Boards.

Her ability to make her alternate characters feel and sound different from each other and her main, along with the behind the scenes support in helping form a new guild, packing, transferring, and setting up in a strange new land.

alright i am going to say this now... Making the voting process public may cause issues within our community for the following reasons;

- ballots or votes should be kept in private so that those making such votes are the only ones who can see it.
- Showing votes to the public may cause some to believe you are showing favoritism.
- A Private vote leaves the results to be a surprise at the end.
- Not everyone will get votes, this may upset some people and cause out of character problems.
- Leaving the vote private allows others to vote for who they want without fearing any outside judgment. (ex. I vote for John but Billy is mad because he is my friend.)

Thus for the said reasons and as a sign of respect for all players and all votes, I suggest making the voting process private.

I really want to thank you Marius for nominating me but I would much rather see newer or less prominent folks get this nomination. I would like to nominate Anthraxas. He is the current leader of the Maritime Union and has been working hard on making it great.
