***************************************
Intense discussion filled the air within the keep the night before the burning.
Multiple strategies were poured over and criticized in great debate, for what was to come would determine how this inevitable war took shape.
Amidst the chaos of what could be, one thing was certain...
There was no more room for patience, and example had to be made.
***************************************
***************************************
The Guardians of Stonegate stood before the Wolf King armed to the teeth, teeth that were now much more noticeably pronounced.
They looked gruff, dirty, war torn - they were an imposing image from the pages of history with an unmatched likeness to the legendary Stormreavers.
By all appearances, they were Orcs hungry for battle. There was no doubt in the King's mind that they were ready for it.
Some time later, with preparations complete, a pair of loose fitting shackles were slapped over Myrddin's wrists as he was uncharacteristically shoved through a gate and dragged over the warm sands of Magincia.
***************************************
***************************************
Back in Malas, in the city of Luna that Stonegate had ruled for a time, an Iconical Man with a White Mask was setting an effigy ablaze.
The Hatred and power of the Humanis cause was thick in the air as the symbol of the lycan was burned, followed by book after book representing the many who's lives were deemed unworthy.
It all rained down upon the flames.
The Guardians wanted to be there, but to be there would be to follow the Magnate's plan.
So instead a diversion had been devised.
Unfortunately for Myrddin, this diversion would never be believable without some truth for it.
As the Guardians waited for the Magincians to return, the Wolf King was surrounded by Orcs, being spit on and beaten.

When the lord Isk and his followers finally arrived, it seemed there was some well deserved confusion.
Reportedly a stranger had called desperately for aid against the group of savage orcs upon the beaches of Magincia, but what awaited the followers of humanis were Orcs with an offering?
Myrddin glared at Isk with Hatred in his eyes, calling out his cowardice for stooping so low as to ally with orcs.
These statements were of course refuted, but no one was here to win an argument.
Subtle glances and signals were given in haste, chaos was building and it wouldn't last.
Allowing the shackles to slide free from his wrists, Myrddin bound forward from the crowd of Orcs, drawing his weapon with a leap and a shout.
DIE ISK!
And behind him, battle cries filled the air as the Guardians in guise turned against the Magincians.
**************************************
**************************************
The Wolf King was instantly reminded of the risk involved in this plan as he became the easiest and most obvious target among a sea of Orcs.
It was all he could do to keep his footing and stumble his way to the first enemy in sight as what seemed like a thousand spells ripped into his body.
Fortunately for his sake, the magic of his fellow soldiers also coursed through his blood, fighting off the trauma that surely would have taken place.
Still, as Myrddin fought through the pain, he was filled with strength and pride as the Orcs worked in unison, synchronizing their attacks against each and every Magincian one by one.
This battle was intense, and even now in the midst of this iron storm, he knew it was likely the first of many.
But this is where Myrddin, and the Guardians of Stonegate, belonged.
The Warriors of Fate did not hesitate to follow their path.
**************************************
**************************************
When the fighting stopped, and the battle was over, the victorious guardians gathered together.
Though they still wore the guise of Orcs, it was obvious that when the enemy recovered they would know the truth of this attack.
Myrddin also knew that essentially he had given Isk what he wanted. He had thrown the first stone.
But it didn't matter... To wait any longer would of been a sign of weakness while more and more signed up for the Humanis cause.
It could not be allowed to go unopposed.
Stonegate would oppose this, no matter how many battles it took... And they would fight it their own way.
Taking a final look upon the battle field, a gate was summoned, and the Guardians returned to Malas.
As the Wolf King made way to the gate, he did not boast, but instead spoke only his greatest belief:
