So we inadvertently ended up with a bunch of UO Lore posts in the Artists Canvas, and I am a huge Ultima fan (my first RPG ever was Ultima IV on my Apple IIC) so I figured I'd start a thread in here to kick around UO Lore questions.

Interesting, fun, and educational!

To get the ball rolling, a multi-part question.

In what game is Lord British first seen? For extra points - what year was it released?

what was the glacial hued cutlass in utima 7 called and where was it found?

what strange object lies in a farm east of brit in ultima 7?

What figure stands before you as you exit stonegate in ultima 9?

I'll go for the ones that I *THINK* I remember off the top of my head:


what was the glacial hued cutlass in utima 7 called and where was it found?
-I think this was Magebane and I think (stress THINK) that it was in Serpents Hold


what strange object lies in a farm east of brit in ultima 7?
-that would be the Hoe of Destruction. best. name. ever.

While magebane is correct, it is not found in serpents hold, unless there is a second one there. it is found in the ruins of stonegate near locke lake.

and correct on the hoe of destruction as well, but what uncanny object lies in that field.... it plays an all to familiar origin tune when used
