After laying Xunafein down next to his sister, Rhylcice in the bassinet and sternly scolding Kor'inth with a backhand for talking too loud, Kal'iksix summons one of her messenger spiders. She picks it up and purrs at the obsidian spider, like a lover.

"Seek out my former mate and haunt him. Stay hidden from others' eyes, and avoid being destroyed." Kal'iksix paused as if listening to the reply from the spider. "No message, just taunt him and plague his dreams with nightmares."

Chuckling wickedly, Kal'iksix kisses the spider and sends it off. Propping her feet up on the bottom of the bassinet, rocking it slightly, a small glimmer can be seen in her eyes as she becomes lost in thought, looking at the fireplace.

"I'll make him pay for defecting to my uncle's religion, that half blood patriarch!"
