Daywalker....drow priestess...vampire princess...

Kor'inth ran her tongue along her teeth, feeling the points of her fangs. "Blood is needed to sustain, food is way to fit in. You are the best of both worlds, my dear daughter, all will be jealous of you," her father's words rang in her memory. Kor'inth ran her fingers through her pale blush pink hair, again a blending of her mother's snow white hair and her father's crimson hair and one of her many triggers for her very short and violent temper. Her mind instantly recalled back one of her first interactions with others of her mother's race, being teased in the academy for her hair color.

"You are not a priestess, you're a half breed," the young male jeered, " I don't take orders from half breeds."

Blood instantly sprayed everywhere when Kor'inth's mace connected with the male's skull. Standing there, barely breathing hard, eyes completely filled in red and glowing marking similar to her father's thirteen markings beginning to fade from her right side, Kor'inth licked the blood from the back of her hand and looked threateningly around to the others that had gathered.

"Anyone else have anything to say??" The crowd grew silent and began dissapating as one of the instructors of the Melee Magthere arrived to break up the gathering.

"Kor'inth Do'aere, Matron Kal'iksix will NOT be pleased to hear of this," the instructor spoke while looking at the twitching pile on the ground.

"On the contrary, I think my MOTHER will be quite pleased to hear of my disposing of a male." A shocked gasp radiated through the crowd and the eyes of the instructor grew wide. "Or perhaps you wish to speak to my father, Lord Ian Nottingham of the Cappadocians?" Kor'inth flashed a fanged grin.

Kor'inth was snapped back to reality when she heard the newborn twins crying in the other room. "More daywalkers, Father found the perfect mate to survive not only a pregnancy but three daywalker births. The most dangerous warriors made. I wonder how long before Lucian tries to capitalize on this blessing from Ares?" Kor'inth thought. She gathered her things and headed into the other room to make sure Isis was doing her job as nanny. Her half-brother Vas'al was taking her hunting later that day; Mother still didn't approve of her decision of weapon over magic.

"Then again, I shall never be a high priestess because of the blood mix," Kor'inth thought.

"However Princess," a voice came from behind her," you are of higher status, more favored, protected, and more respected than that of she who is not named."

Kor'inth turned and saw her father standing behind her, having read her thoughts.

"I know Daddy," Kor'inth flashed her bone melting smile, which was returned with one of his own. She reached up on tip toe to kiss his cheek.

"Run along, Rammstein is waiting for you." Kor'inth groaned at the sound of the order to keep her punishment.

"But Daddy...." she pouted and whined.

Ian growled low at her, "You may be a princess, but you WILL treat my necromancer with respect."

"That two bit magician???"

Ian stepped forward and growled again, his eyes beginning to darken and glow. Kor'inth cowered and ran off. Ever since his father had fed from his mother, Ian's temper became shorter, more violent, and Kor'inth knew better than to push her luck.

"Be sure to get the test results for your mother!" Ian called to her.

"Yes Daddy."

"I am a daywalker...I am a vampire princess...I am a drow priestess...but foremost...I AM Abbas Parum Custodis...Daddy's Little Guardian"
