Just like it says. I had an account, playing as a French privateer on Blackbeard, made it to level 50, then quit before I could really get a decent ship. It was actually pretty fun, but it was empty a lot of the time and I'm not surprised they're going this route.

If anyone wants to hook up in-game after it goes free-to-play in November, look me up. My character's name is Christof d'Anjou, still on Blackbeard (which has since combined with other servers). The game might not be around for very long, but you're not losing much besides time.

If anyone's remotely interested, it's now free-to-play. If you want to hook up, look for the Frenchman on Roberts in the funny hat, goofy spectacles and brown wig.
