At thanksgiving I think alot about the people that are not here, it is left over from halloween I guess. I have had quite a few die around the holidays and this is my time to meditate and remember them.

I also like not working for four days. Thats always a win.

Yeah, the no work thing is nice. Feasting, drinking and hanging out with the family is nice, but some good sleep is what I like on breaks like this.

After reading Merci post kind made me stop and think alittle on how things are so different now then when i was a kid. In some ways I wish things were same as it was as when I was a kid , in another way I am glad how certain things are different. I do miss though I love and care for who are gone now but I keep reminding myself not to feel sad for long time that they are happy now. Anyways I thank Merci for her post cause kind made me stop and think about some stuff.

Definitely having time off of work to spend with the family, and the tradition of baking cinnamon rolls before all the mid afternoon madness starts! Smile
