The small black dragon lands upon the window, a parchment dyed in blood rolled and held in the beasts forward claws. Those golden eyes keep careful watch of those that near and those that pass as it tends to keep to the shadows, awaiting the approach of the man it has been sent for.



To the Vampire Lord, Shai Hulud;

Through my chance encounters I have come to think upon your appearance at the Stonegate Tavern in nights past.
Our recent conversations continue to flow through my thoughts and I seek your council and perhaps your advice.
Send word when you would wish to meet, perhaps upon neutral ground away from prying eyes and ears.

Shai Hulud throws open the door entering his quarters with strength in his step after a long night of feeding. He discards a bag of heads still showing the expression of horror on their faces from their fate. He makes his way to his desk unfazed by the dragon in the window. He takes his seat casually extending his hand toward the beast. The dragons talons release the parchment into his hands. Shai grasps the parchment and reads the letter quickly then sets it to the side. He reaches to the stack of bloodied parchment nearby and begins to scratch out a message...





To Valek Typhoon;

I'm pleased that my words have taken there affect on you and moved you to seek me out. If it is my advice you seek then it is what you will receive but I warn you it comes with conditions as does anything with us. I agree that we must keep this meeting of the utmost secrecy for I do not normally deal with such. Meet me at the Dark Temple in the Falling Waters Fortress at 9pm under the eastern moon.

Shai rolls the parchment and makes his way out of the room throwing the parchment out of the window on his way out of the room. The black dragon snatches the parchment from the air and makes haste for it's master.
