|
My Dear Friends, Though we have gathered here for a night of fun, I have had the most dreadful news.
My lovely daughter Wynn has been kidnapped!
Please!
You must find the clues and determine who would commit such a foul deed.
Find where they have taken her and rescue her!
To the Brave Knight who rescues her, I'll grant her hand in marriage!
Eh? What's that?
Well... What if I throw in some gold as well?
Ehh??? Well... OK... Keep the gold and I'll keep her... *sighs* But please rescue her!
Wynn was last seen upstairs in her room.
There are many members of the household staff around so be sure to ask questions of as many as you can find.
My twin brother Kazar is travelling at the moment - but if you see him, please let him know about his beloved niece.
I fear that blood will be shed before the night is over. (There will be fighting if you want to - but not required.)
The plot continues Tuesday Night, October 12th at 8:30pm Eastern Time. If you found your way to Kazar's house, meet there for a small head-start. If you did not find your way there, meet back at the Hall of the Drunken Elders for a gate over.
Sadly, a recent bug in the Enhanced Client can make completing this section difficult. It is advisable to have the Classic Client installed just in case!
See you then!
P.S. - ARPC is being used to test the event. The full event will be presented to the full shard on Saturday, October 16th. Please do not give away all of the details! The event will be changed slightly for the weekend. |

That maze was nerve wracking. Please include a navigational map so I can make it to the end. LOL |

The event will be repeated Sunday evening (7:30 PM Eastern) for the full Atlantic Shard. The clues will be slightly changed, maze changed, and an additional stop-off (with an item to pick up to gain entry to the maze) on the way to the maze house will be added.
Before I move forward...
Were there any problems that you all saw?
Other Feedback?
Were prizes appropriate to the difficulty?
For the full shard, there will be no tavern night so no story-line to launch it - just a post on the forums to introduce it and directions to the start time/place. |

My main suggestion is to have volunteers at the assorted check boxes to add in a few checks as you go. Otherwise, the first person there would scoop them all up. _________________ aka: Tatiana Thorn nee Alexi; Summer Kane; Ivory Skyfire; and others |

the event was great, teh maze was great and i think the prizes were fine. I got a deco item deed worth ten shadow itens and a heritage token along with a mana phase orb. After i finished the maze i worked in reverse to pick up over 2mil worth of checks in 10-20K increments. Yes the first couple people through the maze are going to pick up the amazing items. With that said there was more than enough gold to go around if you were willing to loot it (and suffer the fingure cramp from cashing it in ((damn you tazar your evilness is endless *grins*)) ). Also as a grand prize i thought the soul stone a good idea because alot of people already have money, the soulstone was something i wanted but wouldnt want to buy and easily resold if you want to go that route. |
