"ARGH!" Cuth grunted in exasperation as he dug through chest after chest in his treasury. "Where... is it..." he was panting now. It was hot in the stone room, the small windows wouldn't have afforded any help even if they had been open. Cuth removed his armor to allow the heat coming off of him to better dissipate. He opened the next chest and dug around, throwing bags of armor, weapons and gold here and there. He spied a small bag at the bottom of the chest and dug for it, hoping it was the prize he sought. Grabbing the top, he pulled the bag to the top of the chest, wiggling it back and forth to allow it to make passage through the other items in it's path. Once out of the chest, Cuth opened the bag and peered in. The top of a red Tribal Mask peered back at him, and Cuth smiled. This is what he was looking for. In fact, he had been thinking about this bag for over a week, ever since Isk had shown him the prize now sitting in the Basilica in Magincia; the old guildstone for the Hand of Humanis. The stone was very old, and had lost most of it's original sheen. Even the engravings were somewhat worn, but the important words were still there on the stone: "Hand of Humanis" "Artero" "Cuthbert" "Isk" "Dymm" "Hector". Cuthbert thought about these names as he again looked into the bag. Artero's Tribal Mask again looked back at him. Moving it aside he saw the large Floppy Hat and laughed to himself. Artero used to hate when Dymm wore that hat... He saw Hector's Gauntlets, made of Shadow Iron, and thought of how happy they all had been when they had been recognized as the formal leaders of Magincia.
Grinning, he closed the small bag and made his way to the Basilica

Isk stood in the Basilica, waiting for Cuthbert.
"You have something for me? I am fairly busy..." Isk was holding out his hand impatiently, and Cuth grinned a bit as he handed the bag to Isk. He was quite sure that he had no idea what he was about to see.
Isk opened the bag and looked in, then slowly raised his head and looked back at Cuthbert. "How... did you come by these items?"
"I've had them for a long, long time..." Cuth said "Each item came to me at a different time, but they are all from the earliest days of the Hand of Humanis."
Isk nodded and closed the bag. "We shall have to find a proper place to display them. These items are to be treasured. They speak to the glorious history of the island of Magincia, and to the men responsible."
Cuth nodded "Aye, we will find a spot for them. With the old Guildstone here..." Cuth motioned to the Humanis Guildstone that stood in the middle of the Basilica "...I thought these items might be of interest for display."
"They are. And they shall be displayed prominently. Thank you, friend" Isk clasped Cuth on the shoulder and left the Basilica to tend to his business.
"You're welcome..." Cuthbert said, watching Isk leave.
He turned back towards the middle of the Basilica, and looked about at the sandstone walls and floor. Typical Magincian construction. He ascended the steps to the pedestal where the Guildstone stood and lightly ran his fingers over the engraving that he had once been willing to give his life for.
