The pigeon bears a rolled parchment sealed with wax and a tiny silver bell.

Dear Cousin Arahim,

Sound the Bells and Make Merry! It is with great honour and pride
that we announce the birth of a daughter, Cassidy Rain Bishop.

She's got my eyes, her mother's curls, and her Aunt Arden's sunny
disposition, when she's hungry. Hah!

I will bring my family to visit as soon as things settle a bit. I have
one or two things that I must discuss, which now seem to directly
involve you.
