The only concern I have with it being in fel is that is wont be used by many. New player and some old do not go to fel. Most time I am sure it will be policed by reds which will make it even more unattractive. I dont know but that is just my opinion. But I love the idea of having something. and the stratics thread has been great. _________________ What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.

Blackmarsh is in Felucca and it's not policed by reds.
Having something in Felucca does not automatically mean it will be crawling in reds. _________________

I didnt want to start anything but I was just saying that many do not go to fel because of the thougth of dying or cost of insurance money. Alot of "public" places do normally have reds. Alot of moongates even have reds sitting by them or just far enought so that they can not get guard wacked. I have played almost 10 yrs and I can say even with tavern nights I have only been to fel less than 20 times. It has never been a place to appeal to myself or pleople that play around me. People who are new cant even go to champ spawns ect with out being killed. This just my opinion I didnt state it for a debate and never ment for it to sound that way. _________________ What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.

Not to add any fuel to any fire that may exist or be created, but just from personal experience as a PvP thief the last 2 months, Fel is empty. You find people at Yew Gate, you find people occasionally at Barracoon or the Primeval Lich, or at a Coon spawn in the Lost Lands, but other than that: empty. I never encounter anyone outside of the champ spawn scouting I do. _________________ Dryzzid#5091 | 74503058 |

I have many properties in Fel and have not seen a red in several years. The places are remote enough that they are not on the beaten path.
I have it on my heart to say this so I will.
It is a historical site. It is a historical building. You would not move the Washington monument out of Washington DC just because there are rough neighborhoods a mile or two away would you? Or the Statue of Liberty out of the river because it is poluted...and so on...
Just a note, should it be designated a landmark, I would give up the land area and property to the EMs forever. It would never be dropped and would be protected for as long as the game exsists. _________________ Grand Duchess Molly Kaldhel

Alright, Halister and myself were discussing this. Here is a proposal that we would like you to consider.
First off let's clear something up. This is not an "either or situation". The community project that the EMs are doing is not associated with our getting the Mage Tower in Fel memorialized.
The Fel "Atlantic Mage Tower" is to be memorialized.
The EM project will go ahead as planned as well.
The big problem was what they were calling their building. Halister and I have come up with a solution if you will take a moment and consider it. I like the idea and it will make the building Unique as it should be. Why not name our AMT building in Fel "The AMT Memorial" I think that's more fitting. _________________ Grand Duchess Molly Kaldhel

Agreed. Thanks for clearing that up by the way Molly, it makes sense for the better of the Atlantic community as a whole to have both the Felucca tower memorialized and the new project.
I like the AMT memorial, there are mage towers on other shards, but only one AMT. I think it's a very good compromise, and allows for both projects to thrive and succeed with the freedom they both deserve. _________________ "There are those who dream to escape reality, and there are those who dream to change it." |

I like the name, AMT Memorial. Great choice.
I hope it comes to fruition |

That's outstanding. I am so glad that Mesanna has changed her mind and decided to allow both projects go forward! I would say that the new community project site should under go a naming contest and be themed differently from the Mage Tower Memorial, in order to keep each unique |

... I thought both projects were going on since Molly first mentioned it after Town Hall...
Oh well, silly me. Now everyone is happy regardless, hehe. The name AMT Memorial sounds great.
As far as the "community center", I agree with you, Jandruz, the it needs to take another form now with a new theme. _________________ Dryzzid#5091 | 74503058 |
