If you don’t already know, The "Booster Pack" that’s coming by the end of the year will give us waterborne adventures.
Will include three new boats, tons of new stuff to fish up, a means to make a legendary fisherman.

Side Note

Mr. Lord Isk. Magincia will Live Again. Before the end of the year at the latest.
Within the next month or two I was told.

I have talked to the powers that be and we are going to get the Atlantic Mage Tower placed in Fel at the old location and may even get the annex placed over the water (*crosses her fingers*). Cear and myself talked to the person today and she is onboard as soon as we are ready!

Can anyone confirm whether or not Magincia will be called New Magincia like in the Ultima games, please?

If/When we get the Mage Tower back I think the community needs to focus on making/keeping it active.

My RL is hectic right now, training for a new job and really don't have time to game with any dedication until January but I will do my best to contribute.

Hello everyone. I really do not want to be the one to post this information, but I feel that everyone interested in the Mage Tower project needs too have all of the information. When I originally saw this thread I was surprised and relieved that Mesanna had decided to go forward with both restoring the fel Mage Tower and the project I had originally proposed. I decided I better double check with her, though.

Here is what I asked her: (11:16:24 AM): Hi, I read on the ATL RP forums that you have decided to put a Mage Tower in Fel where the original one was. If so, that's great news! Does that affect the project for tram (which is going really well in the stratics thread - all positive so far)?

Her response: (11:51:50 AM): Like I told the player that asked about it, I don't mind working with you guys but everyone needs to know what you want before I get there.

Our discussion went on a bit longer and she concluded with this: (12:18:05 PM): when you guys come to a settlement you should then approach me =)

So, as I understand it, Mesanna is still sticking to her position that we all need to work together to come up with a single, unified project for the shard. Some of us have been discussing this project in Nestor's thread titled "Mesanna's Blank Check Thread" over on Stratics. If you are not familiar with the thread, please read the entire thread. If you are, I revived on 8/22 with post number 22. In that post I detailed the compiled ideas/compromise EM Eris and I had discussed before she left her post as EM.

We do not have to use that thread to come to our decision, but it looks as if we will all have to work together if we want something great for our shard, and I do not believe we can ignore the ideas in that thread. It also looks as if we are on our own to police ourselves in coming up with a solution. Please join me in that Stratics thread so that we may develop a consensus and go to Mesanna with a unified voice (If some other medium is preferred I'm game. I just want to figure something out and make it work! Smile

)

I've been busy with work, but I checked over the Stratics thread. It seems to be going well.

I will make a post regarding the Felucca tower as well in that thread to add to the list, unless Molly and Cear were told otherwise.

I would suggest coming up with a semi finalized draft of all ideas sometime later in the week and cross posting it here, on UOforums Atlantic and on Stratics Atlantic to hear player feedback. If any adjustments need to be made, then we can make them and present a final draft for general consensus.

Then it can be presented to Mesanna and we can go from there.

A couple more things I should mention are that Mesanna has said she will only do one project, that means we all have to come to a consensus for this to work. I also want to point out that we need more than just ideas in the Stratics thread, we need active discussion culminating in a proposal, because we are the ones who will have to distill the ideas down to one, unified, project. The EMs (at this point anyway) are not going to do that, and Mesanna said she will not be reading the thread, but waiting for our proposal.

It's really great that she has put so much power in the hands of us players Smile
