I've only seen one person get hacked in my raiding guild, yeah. As for the casual guild I am in, they get hacked left and right; had 3 officers in as many weeks get hacked. In fact, one got hacked ONE day after we just got our guild bank items mailed back and restored to us from the previous guy; what a mess.
I told all of these people to scan for keyloggers but not a one of them found anything. I guess I'll start asking them if they went to log in to their account somewhere and it told them they 'failed' or did nothing, which would mean a phishing site. I really doubt that blizzard is getting like, brute force password cracked or anything, even though if they were I wouldn't put it past them if they just sat back and let the profit from authenticator sales flow in. |

There's sites that login and redirect you to a legit Blizzard site too, don't forget. Tell them to not be retarded and buy an authenticator too. Seriously, if they like OMG FREE PET LOG IN TODAY, they get a free pet with the authenticator. It's ridiculously cheap in America to get one too, no excuse to not have one. If you're in Canada though, it costs roughly $30-$40 dollars once all the fees are done. Fedex sent me a bill a month after I got it demanding money on top of the shipping fee I already paid to have the thing sent, which is stupid. |

I just got two for Aion—a game I've never even played. They probably got my e-mail from my City of Heroes account.

Just received an e-mail "confirming" my faction change... for my closed account that is protected by an authenticator. The email actually looks kinda legit, but the website addresses are clearly fake, like blizzard.verifyconfirm.com. VerifyConfrm? And it's from Review.Blizzard.Com. Lolwut? Silly haxzorz. |
