She sat in her room, the past events swirling in her mind, her talk with Olath....Rashid anger and possible hatred of her..Bryce leaving. Vian was busy getting the knights ready to any pending attack. She had not seen her parents or her uncle for any length of time. She recalled the offer that Olath had given...help teach her to fight. She settles down at her desk and takes parchment and quill and pens a note to him.

Dear Lord Olath Morchiant,

I do hope that this note finds you in good spirits and enjoying a pleasing day or eve. I am writing in regards to the offer you had bestowed upon me that evening when we were chatting. That offer was to help teach me to fight. I am curious if that truly was an offer or just you being a friendly kind host. I also am wondering if there is something else you could aide me with. Please send word if the offer still stands, and upon when we are able to meet. Til our paths cross again, may your paths be safe and sure.

Sincerely,
Ronia Skyfire

She looks upon note and smiles folding it over and sealing it with the Skyfire emblem and wax. She calls for a messanger to deliever the message, paying him enough for any room and board needed. She hopes that the message would get to Olath without any issues. She heads back to her room and settles in her bed. Thoughts of Rashids eyes forever marring her vision, she just covers her head and silently cries into her pillow.

Olath sat in the abyssal gardens, admiring the beehive that gently hummed nearby. He debated whether to brave their retaliation for a small taste of honey when Marguth, daemon servant of the Abyssal Masquerade, walked out and caught his attention with the clearing of his throat. Olath smiled to him. “Vendui, Marguth…” He looked down and noticed that he carried what seemed to be a letter. “A letter?” Marguth nodded, making sure to not make eye contact. “….A human…messenger was found rather..lost by Viceroy of Buccaneer’s Den, Shri’hrae’s office… It is addressed to you, my lord..” Marguth held out his long crimson arm, careful to look away from Olath as he took the letter. He then bowed and returned to his duties inside. Olath examined the seal with a slightly arched brow and thought on the peculiarity of seeing the Skyfire seal out in the abyss. A slight grin of satisfaction formed on his face as he broke the seal in half. He paced slowly with one hand to his chin while the other held the parchment stable as he walked. He smiled as his eyes finished grazing over the last lines. Still holding the letter, he walked to Gorhun’s vacant office in the Abyssal Masquerade and freed a blank piece of parchment from one of the desk drawers. He then began to pen the following message:

Ronia.. My dear Ronia Skyfire,

Can it not be true that I am both an enchanting host and serious about my offer? Of course I do, in part, jest, however, in matters of training and the sword I do not carry the same disposition. I would not waste an offer on someone whom I did not think was capable of completing such training. So Xas, my offer does indeed still stand. If you happen to grace the lovely Buc’s Den with your presence again on the eve of Friday, I do encourage you to seek me out. Your journey can start there.

Olath Morchiant
Prince of the Drow

*Seals the parchment with glowing, black abyssal wax. Within the seal lies the Staff of the Spider and the Mask of Vhaeraun, emblazoned over the symbol of chaos*

Olath looks to Marguth as he dusts the windows of the office. “Have a raven deliver this to Ronia.” Marguth accepts the letter and bows, treading backwards while bowed until he reaches the doorway. Olath rests his elbows upon the desk and moves his face down so that his nose rests upon his clasped hands. A smile comes across his face as he thinks of the future, though it is hidden behind his hands. He walks out of the office, leaving the letter where Gorhun may read it.

With his feet propped up on his desk the Drow Lord fills a wine glass and notices an open letter on his desk.

"What a lovely masquerade..."the Drow lord says to himself as he skims the letter.

"I do wonder what is to come of such endeavors..." Gorhun says as his mask changes a deep black.

Ronia had made her rounds to the garden, seeing if Bryce's guards had any news. She, with a heavy sigh, moves to the log near the small pond, gazing into it, watching her reflection become distorted as ripples stretched out towards the middle. She looks noting a raven landed right next to her, with what seemed a message. She takes hold of the note and looks upon the seal. Never having seen such a seal but could only guess whom the note was from, she opened it. Deep blue eyes serene and intense gazed upon each word. A slight smile curled about her lips that would falter slightly. Hoping not to offend, she quickly makes her way to her home, where she enters her fathers office and sits down. She starts to write her response.

Dear Lord Olath Morchiant,

It pleases me thoroughly to not only see a response but see one so soon. I thank you for the timely manner in which you have done such. I was also greatly pleased to see the offer was not only from a gracious host, but indeed an offer of truth. Though, sadden as I am, I fear that my presence will not be seen Friday eve, as it is required I be elsewhere. Tis there another evening that is good for you. I do not wish to offend, or make you believe I do not appreciate the offer. If it were something I could get out of, trust me I would so in a heartbeat. Unfortunately it is important that I tend to this other arrangement. Once again, I am truly sorry for unable to made the proffered date, but perhaps you will be so kind as to give another. Til I hear from you again, may your nights be filled with warmth and pleasant dreams.

Sincerely,
Ronia Skyfire

She seals the letter heading back to the pool finding the same Raven still sitting there, she ties the note to the ravens leg and sends it off.
