The Awakening would like to thank the court of Yew and the Justices that serve it for the clearing of our good name.

We were shocked to hear the horrible things we were accused of and are relieved to see that Justice has prevailed and the Truth has been shown to all.

We are thankful to the citizens of Yew, and we look forward to serving on the Yew Council. We forsee a prosperous future ahead for all of Yew.

*He glanced at the message, and having been at the 'cough' inquiry. simply shook his head with a frown* ...The days are growing darker, *was all he said as he disappeared into Dragonbane Citadel for the eve*

Nazralte was both angry and happy after the final night of the Inquiry. He talked little with Ivae as they settled in for the night, his thoughts mostly on the events from the previous hour or so. He tried to sleep, but his mind wouldn't settle down.
Moving carefully, so as to not disturb Ivae from her sleep, he went over to his bonsai looked into it's small leaves. He picked up the scissors and began to snip at the small branches...

They are fools...letting the Dark Awakening, a group that has betrayed, killed, totured and even slaved many people, walk amongst them. If they wish to be stabbed in the back, let them. However, I shall not let them cause chaos in this land. I will not stand by while they plot dark deeds. I shall take action. I think I will bring this up at the next Regency meeting. Mayhaps I can get them to take some action. *he smirks to himself*
But if not, then I shall just go on ahead anyways. We have the force capable of taking them down. Hell, we could take on the whole Yew Council if they try to defend the Dark Awakening. I would hate to do that...but something must be done.

Nazralte sets down the scissors, his thoughts now less chaotic and troublesome. He climbs back into bed carefully and scoots next to Ivae. She murmers and rolls over into his arms. Breathing in deeply, he finally drifts off to sleep.

A turmoil raged in Ivae's mind as she murmured the gate travel spell to take her and Nazralte home. She did not fully understand what had been going on when the inquiry had first started, but by the end, the words and moods of those present had explained the situation to her. Naz was not happy with the outcome, nor, did it seem, many present were. He had been distracted as they had chatted briefly, and then they had retired.

Rolling over to face the wall, Ivae closed her eyes and slowed her breathing, but she was far from sleep. The weight behind her left the bed, and she could hear Naz slowly trimming the bonsai tree. Her thoughts turned to her own. Her guild was her life, and she would defend them to the death. All that they stood for would be crushed if guilds like DA were allowed to run free. She knew Naz would not stand idly by, and she would defend his decision on this matter.

As he joined her again in bed, she rolled over into his arms, allowing his strength to surround her. She calmed her mind enough to sleep, but her dreams were those of decisions and memories long lost to the concious mind.

Rellik rides up to the entrance of the Yew Empath Abbey and notices a parchement posted to the wall.As he dismount from his horse and secures his mount he mumbles.

"What could this be?"

Rellik begins to read the notice and crumbles the parchement in his hand.

"How could they have been found innocent from thier crimes"

Becomming noticeably angry at what he had just read,he begins looking around.

"If this so called court can not defend it's own people of Sosaria then it falls to us to exact the Justice needed."

As Rellik opens the door of the Empath,he notices several people speaking of the parchment and the judgement that was not placed.Rellik opens one of the doors at the Empath and find the room empty.Rellik looks amongst the room and finds a quill and ink.He takes a seat in a chair and begins to write.

Dealthager, Technocrat Primus of Sosaria
Let it be known this day that we The Harpers of Sosaria do not agree with the ruling found by the court or by the so-called justices of this court. The Harpers of Sosaria will be seeking the Justice that the court could not.

Rellik folds the newly written parchment and stands from the table inwhich he was sitting. He walks over to the door and opens it and begins to holler out.

"Is there a messenger here that may take this message?"

A child looking to be in rough times walks up to Rellik.

"I can take your message." The young boy comments.

Rellik looks down at the young boy and comments.

"Are you old enough and well enough to do this for me?"

The boy looks up at Rellik and states

"Aye MiLord and I only ask for 10 coins to do this for thee."

Rellik reaches into his pouch and pulls out 45 gold coins and looks back down at the boy.

"Take this to the place inwhich this person Dealthager stays and these coins will be yours.Do you know of this man and where to find him?"

The boy looking back at Rellik replies

"I know not exact location but I am sure I know of others that do."

Rellik hands over the parchment and the coins over to the boy.

"Now speed along now and deliver this message for me." Rellik states as he places his hand on the young boys back.

"Indeed MiLord" the boy says as he takes off running towards the doors of the Empath.

Rellik stands straight and takes in a deep breath.

"The time has come to begin seeking Justice to those crimes that have gone unjustified."

Rellik walks out the doors of the Abbey and unsecures his steed and mounts his horse. He sits proudly on his steed and begins to ride toward the portal of Yew.

"Master? A missive has arrived for you."

Dealthagar turned and saw the small boy clutching a letter, being led into the room by Sularis. The child shivvered. He was hardly dressed for the clime of Dagger Isle, but the Technocrat wasn't sure it was cold and not fear that made the boy quake.

"I...I was told to get this to you, guv'nah."

The ancient wizard smiled, and his eyes glinted like a cat's, sizing up a cornered mouse. "Well done lad. Reaching the ruins of Caina isn't easy. Sularis, get this boy a hot meal, some warm clothes and a pocket of gold for his effort."

Sularis eyed the boy momentarily then fixed his gaze the master of The Sanctum. "Yes, master."

The boy's eyes grew wider as he realized what had just happened. "Thank ye, guv'nah! Thank ye ver' much."

"Think nothing of it lad." Dealthagar smiled and waved the boy off. Examining the scroll, he popped the seal with a small pen-knife and quickly read the contents.

Dealthagar sighed as he balled up the parchment and tossed it into the fire.

"Something wrong master?"

Dealthagar looked over to his personal aide who was handing the small Yewish boy a plate of steaming carrots, boiled potatoes and roast lamb. "Once again, some meddling 'servant of the virtues' has decided that they are above, beyond and a better judge of who is virtuous or evil than the system Lord British himself put into place." The Technomancer sighed again and stared into the fire, the flames reflecting in his dark pupils. "I need you to take a letter, Sularis. Boy, after you sleep the night, would you be willing to take a letter back to the buffon who sent you here?"

The boy swallowed. "Spend the night...you mean, like in a bed, guv'nah?"

"Of course, child. It was a long journey, and the Cainian Wastes are patroled by orcs once night falls. Come morn, after you are rested, we can gate you safely back to Yew." He paused. "Unless you would rather be out in the cold and wet with orcs, bears and madmen wandering the area..."

"No, sirrah! I'd be glad tae deliver yuir letter guv'nah!"

"Thats's a good lad. Sularis, make sure he gets some of the pecan pie you got from Magincia. It's a treat no child should go without."

The tall man nodded and smiled to the boy.

--------------

Waving as he stepped through the blue orb, the boy dissapeared as the sun fully crested the Eastern mountains of Dagger Isle. Standing in the midst of the Lycaeum, the boy could not help but smile at his luck. Instead of the rags and hand-me-downs he began the previous day with, he now had a brand new pair of dragon hide boots, brand new clothing, tailored to fit him perfectly, a fur cape to keep him warm, a leather breastplate to keep him safe from the dangers of living in Yew, and a brand new dagger, crafted by Dealthagar's personal smith. Not to mention the pocket of gold and the satchel of food left over from the feast of the night before. A hot bath, a haircut and good nights sleep in a feather filled bed, he didn't feel like the urchin the Harper had hired. He would be certain to tell his friends. If a member of the Awakening was in Yew needing something, his gang would be the first to help them. Sacrifice and Compassion weren't just words to the Technocrat. Scanning the crowd, he began looking for the Harper.

Quote:
My Dear Rellik,

I find it humorous that someone who was not present, had nothing to do with whatever may have happened and has virtually no true insight into the goings on and dealings of our organization believes they are able to judge if I am good or evil, Virtuous or despicable. Much like the Harpers of Toril, your mindless meddling will harm far more than it can help. You should be concerned with serving the greater good and tending to the people, rather than buying into innuendo, lies and half truths spoken by disloyal seditionists and seperatist organizations.

I find it even more humorous that you thought me to be a horrible, dispicable, terror of a man, and yet you sent a helpless child to my home. You believe me to be the spiritual leader of a military organization fueled and empowered by dark forces, yet you sent an unarmed boy to my citadel in the ruins of Caina.

You would dare pass judgement on me, and directly defy and brazenly dismiss the findings of the Yewish Court of Truth, the pillar of Britannian Justice? Even in my days as a servant of evil, I recognised the power that court wields. To calim to stand in the light and disregard thier judgement, is to dismiss the virtues themselves, or at a minimum to dismiss Yew's ability to rule itself and protect the Candle of Love.

I find you out of order, sir. If you and your organization is truly dedicated to the virtues, I suggest you look into Trinsic and thier dealings and tolerance with the Infernal Cult of Necromancy, an organization that openly maintains dark magics, evil rituals, undead membership and illegal activities. I suggest you look into House of the Gauntlet and thier regular demeanor of being above and beyond the judgement of the Britannian government.

I have fully admitted to the misdeeds in my past. I have paid penance for those deeds and have atoned for the evil that I wrought. Since that time, I have served as Sherrif of Britannia, the Magistrate of Britannia and headed several key battles against the forces of Blackthorne.

These "leaders" who would accuse me of wrong doing, had no compunctions of using me as an ally when I had a grand army, nearly as vast as the orcs. They had no compunctions of fighting at my side as long as they believed they had some sway in how I pointed my sword.

The Awakening is it's own master. We answer to Yew and the Regent, but we are our own blade. We act for the betterment of mankind and Sosaria.

So if you will pardon me, while you're persicuting me, I have better things to do. Like helping people.

Dealthagar
