Another reason for such a question would possibly be due to the fact that if there is no such lineage some VTR that I have run across allow for the person to start a clan of that lineage to start the cycle of creating a clan so that one can play as that role. As not all vampires share the same abilities, it could cause some issue to attempt to begin roleplay as a vampire of said lineage, begin a history of a said clan that claims that the leader of said clan was either the last or the very first.

I can also understand the fear of giving out information as being a vampire is something kept secret and sacred. No vampire would give away their secrets let alone tell anyone that they exist. To give out such information on a message board too, would cause quite an issue.

However a general list of the vampire clans that are currently active would serve as a good codex for those who wish to consider rolling a human and accepting the sire of a certain clan later down the road.

Don't go hopping into the game thinking that, "Hey it's going to happen right away because it must." That will cause issues as well. Vampire come from being alive first. It's generally a good idea to not go looking for joining them unless you have a very good reason already set up by your character to do so. As many humans typically sought life rather than death in the first place.

I myself, having played as Raje, find undeath to be a very hard thing to roleplay anymore so it is not exactly something you can just jump back into. That being said, I hope that you get the clan list that you are looking for but don't expect to get anything more than that.
