The distant mooing of a cow could be heard, as Edda climbed into bed, opened a book and began reading. Each moo caused her to lose her train of thought, and have to start over. After reading the same sentence five times, she closed the book with irritation and tossed it to the end of the bed. She leaned back against the pillow, put her hands behind her head and looked over to see Cal's head poking through the floor as he climbed up the ladder into the room.

"That was the best poop I've ever taken," he stated, as he finished climbing the ladder and walked across the room to his bed. Edda laughed and thanked him for sharing, as she adjusted the blankets so he could fit under them, too. Climbing in the bed, he flicked off his lamp and in unison they said 'Goodnight'. He flicked the lamp back on and they stared at each other for several moments before Cal spoke again.

"Was that weird?" Edda nodded. "Should we .." Edda nodded again. Then Cal nodded, too. They sat looking slightly disappointed for a minute before Cal spoke again.

"Well. How about one more time first?" Edda smirked deviously and leaned in, expecting a kiss. Cal backed away a little and put his hand up. "No no.. I mean.. the other thing." Edda sighed, and whipped the blankets off herself, folding them over. She stood up and pulled on her hooded robe, then turned to face him. "Ham, again?", she asked. Cal nodded and grinned. She smirked and started walking away, saying "Alright, I'll be back".

She began climbing down the ladder and he called after her, "Put it on white bread this time!". But, it was too late. She was gone. Cal's grin turned to a frown and he said to nobody in particular, "She better fracking put it on a white bread this time."
