So, now that it's out and we've had almost a whole day to play it...

...anyone who's tried it, what do you think so far? I'm addicted already. The armor augments will take some getting used to, as will the new layout of weapons, but I think it's incredible so far.

Was never really a halo fan myself - I am a pretty die-hard supporter of the Medal of Honor series (looking forward to the new modern one) and Call of Duty (love my MW2 - can't wait for TreyArch's Black Ops).

It'll be interesting to see what Zampella and West release with their new company....

I'm so addicted to it that I'm hardly studying for my finals... which makes Halo: Reach a bad thing! But an awesome bad thing.

But I seriously love it. At first, I didn't like it. The controls were weird, weapons felt unfamiliar, just nothing felt right. The new control layout is just idiotic. (B button switch grenades? LOLWUT). Then I switched the controls to how they are for Halo 3 (Recon option, almost exactly like Halo 3's anyway), and I just started dominating. And I'm absolutely loving it. I haven't played Halo in awhile, so I was rusty at first, but I'm seriously getting at least 15-20+ kills every match. The magnum is a beast, and I'm just getting BOOM headshots left and right. I love all the new weapons. Needle Rifle is just so cool, DMR is a serious improvement over the BR, the Focus Rifle is just... AWESOME (it's a mega laser with a scope that also stuns your enemies zomg). And the Plasma Launcher... well let's just say it's shoots homing balls of death. I'm also totally digging all of the new armor abilities (jetpack is so much fun but you get killed so easily if you're stupid about it), but I do kinda miss the bubble shield.

As usual, I can rant about stuff I like forever so I'll just stop now. Essentially, I'm absolutely loving this beta and I think it will easily be the best Halo ever, and one of the best FPS I've ever played (Yeah, I played COD, but Halo is betturz, IMO). I'm going to cry when the beta is over before we know it. But I can't wait for the final product, especially the campaign that I know is going to be LEGEND---wait for it---DARY.

Not really. I tried the first one and it was OK. But I've never really liked any of the other ones. Next FPS I get will probably be CoD Black Ops.

Hell, I don't even feel comfortable playing the new Halo games considering I haven't even finished the first one.

Halo 2 may still be my favorite shooter. I like Border Lands a lot, but I dunno... Halo 2 is so much freaking fun. Don't have an XBOX, so I won't be playing it. PS3! PS3! PS3! *realizes no one else is going to chant and goes back to his timeout box*
